  1. Did you remember to wait for 10 in game days or start a new game to let the bandits spawn with desired item? In the lvl list did you set it the spawn with all the items instead of just one of them? Did you set the chance to zero? Is the mod below Skyre or all other mods? Did you make a bash patch? There is a lot of places to look buddy, but I suggest you make your mod by itself first then worry about if it works with other mods
  2. The answer is me, I play as all of them. So all of them are me, unless you are playing them, then the answer is you
  3. ................. ................................................... .......................................................................... ............................................................................................. I wanted the hat
  4. Hey, I wanted the community input on this subject because, as much as I hate to admit it, I forgot most of the Shivering Isles storyline and have no time to look it up. I need 5 titles for the 5 tiers of enemies that I am creating and I would like the y'all to help me out here Anything really goes here since Sheogorath probably will throw random words together.
  5. I don't really mind the companion modding scene too much... usually if I am looking for a mod of a particular type I just check out the top 100 mods of each category, and If I really feel like digging I can go into the 101-200 placed mods of each category and start picking from there. But OP if you are truly sick of a type of mod dominating the scene, then make your own mod that dominates the followers, I felt the same way about NPCs section only filled with beautiful facelift mods over actual content mods, 7 months later my content mod is on the top 20 list of NPC related mods that really adds to the game...
  6. Welcome fresh meat! Usually authors will state that their mods will be not compatible either 2 ways: 1. Outright says that this or this mod won't work 2. Say that mods that edits a certain thing wont work, example a mod that edits fire spells won't work with other mods that also edits fire spells ect. Best way to make sure is that you read the descriptions carefully and fully, but if you still have problems just ask the authors themselves! Have fun!
  7. After a LONG break (In which it wasn't a 'break' more of a 'school is in session and physics is kicking my butt') I REALLY REALLY want my latest version of OBIS up by this weekend
  8. It's that time of the year again, I have a hankering to play skyrim so I delete all the mods I have and start rebuilding my mod list from the beginning! Unfortunately this year with developing my mod, I have been really really out of the loop of great mods that have come out this year... I wanted the community's opinion on great mods to play! I got all the main ones on the top 100 n stuff but I wanted to know more about the less endorsed mods that are really good... The mods I like are content giving mods, things that adds tons and tons of items, weapons, enemies, npcs, ect and adds them in game in the lvl lists almost like I didn't even install a mod. I really can care less about texture or prettyfulness mods, I think skyrim is beautiful enough without me messing with it
  9. I made the mod OBIS - Organized Bandits of Skyrim and I love making new bandit gangs. Unfortunately my imagination can go so far and I am need new gang names, ideas, gimmicks ect. There is a list of current ideas on my mod page in the readme DL, but give me whatever you got I would love any of these: Name of the gang (A name would be nice) Back story (Make it as long as you like) Gimmick (A special skill that these guys can do) Sigil (A symbol representing the gang) Equipment (normal outfits for the gangs) KTHNKSWUVYOOBAI
  10. f you want, my mod adds difficulty to the bandits in the game, plus a version that replaces every deer, bunny ect with bandits. All of the are balanced and varied to make every encounter with bandits challenging and fun! here is the link
  11. 1. Never talk about Fight Club.... Skyrim, I meant Skyrim 2. Play tag with kids 3. Eat all the sweet rolls 4. Religiously kill bandits 5. Hide bandits' bodies in a river 6. Watch said bandits float down the river 7. At least try to play the main story line (maybe walk there, that's good enough) 8..... Kill more bandits? 9. Find sweet loot 10. Get off Skyrim and mod a new type of bandit from that day's experience (Of eating sweet rolls and body-river-floating)
  12. Yeah, thats not really what i'm after. I don't want ultra OP enemies, I just want to make monster encounters less trivial. Does anyone know of any mods to make levelling up less of a grind? I just did a quick search and I can't find anything that suits my needs (the only levelling mods I found made it more of a grind). Surely there must be at least one? Skyre makes it easier to lvl up, wayfarer tree makes it so that you get skill increase just by walking, combines the lock picking and stealing, ect. Also my mod does add in utra powerful enemies, they are pretty balanced
  13. Before Creation Kit: I wanted to see what loot he had After Creation Kit: I hoped the CK was lying about what loot he had I wanted to test it
  14. Technically, anything we make here breaks lore, because the original game creators did not put our content in, we did. So ANYONE WHO FLAME ABOUT LORE BREAKING, YOUR BREAKING LORE BY USING MODS. "Oh I want to make this girl prettier" LORE BROKE! "I want to change the texture of this tree" LORE BROKE! "I want to..." BROKE! To tell you the truth, every mod is kinda a fanfiction that us lonely girls (modders) write about our saucy dreams about the neighbor boy (perfect Skyrim experience).
  15. My mod is pretty good for difficulty of bandits, variety of opponents a good way to increase difficulty without changing core components of the game http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31264/?
  16. Another thing I do with my mod is to try to answer as many comments on my mod as possible, people like it when the author responds to their posts. Of course when you do get popular and get 100000 posts a day, it's a bit harder to respond, a good FAQ or sticky post about certain topics usually kills a lot of repeat technical comments and makes it easier load on you
  17. Well, I think the best way to get popular is to make a good mod, a good original idea, cleaned, bug free and non conflicting as possible, you shouldn't actively be looking out for endorsements. Just do what you love and the popularity will come, After the recent fix of total and unique dls I was surprised to see how many people actually used my mod. I am happy to see all the support, but it shouldn't really matter too much. I make what I want to make and I am sharing with everyone because I believe that other people would want it too! : D So don't hunt for endorsements hunt for the thrill of modding!
  18. Takes some work to do, but this should fit your bill http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21037/?tab=3&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fuser%3D0%26id%3D21037
  19. Uhh... Okay I got it! A sword that has a 30% chance to do 10x sneak damage instead of whatever it is normally! Each swing will still take up charge, I MAY have to add in a bit more abilities to make it a bit more legendary but I like it! YES THINK GO MY BRAIN WAVES OF CREATIVITY ARE TOO WEAK NOW
  20. This one is good! Reminds me of the knights of the nine set from oblivion! I can make something for this
  21. Exactly what the title says, I want to make an armory of legendary weapons that are both lore friendly and unique in every way. I am only putting them into the boss chest, dragon, and boss enemies lvl list to make each of those things way more rewarding and fun... I want to make 100s of new weapons each with their own back stories and abilities... but I can barely think of like a dozen right now... Can you guys give me some ideas? Suggestions are great, but things to get inspired by would be even better! A list of legendary weapons from other games, random weapon generators, a good book filled with legendary weapon type ideas, ect. Finally if you are suggesting a weapon idea, please make it look like the following: Wolfbiter 1-hand axe Ability: After killing a human foe, a spirit of a wolf comes to fight for you for 15 seconds, deals increased damage to animals at night, increase running speed Backstory: Created for Hircine's followers who loved to chase down their prey, the Wolfbiter is a prized weapon for any who wished to hunt animals with their hand weapons. They say the souls of those men who are slaughtered by this axe forever belong to Hircine and become spirit wolves that fight for their slayer for a bit before fading into Hircine's realm. Anything else after that is great but I need at least this amount of info to even consider it! Thanks for the ideas! I'll list all of the ones I think I can do here Sword of the Righteous, blacksupernova Swift Fox, eLucifer Phoenix Blade, William Lionheart
