  1. okay so while clearing a tomb, i had an idea.. a Draugr Inn! - on the outside, it looks like a nordic tomb. however, it has two guards. one on either side of the door. friendly draugrs. friendly until you irk them anyway. inside, the layout could be vampire/tomb-ish. blood splatters, old bones.. that sort of thing. a bar, dance floor, stage for a bard and rooms for rent. maybe even a little alchemy area and an enchanting table. - maybe. but the whole place is ran by draugr. i thought about maybe even them being voiced, but don't have to be. i don't know anything on working with the creation kit or i'd give it a go. but thought about the draugr just running the place. friendly until angered, like usual npcs you find in a town. the beds, instead of stone beds or the usual beds... the beds being coffins.
  2. I didn't know where to post this, and I hope putting this here is alright. I'm really new to the CK. I've looked up stuff on youtube for help. Thought I was doing pretty good, till I got this message and I don't know what to do now. I'm worried if I click anything, it'll mess up my game. This is the message that came up after I selected 'Skyrim.esm' from the data option after clicking 'file' as directed to do so by the video. Word for word, this is what came up in the popup window: MASTERFILE: NavmeshInfo 00028e37 has no parent space, ignoring "Yes to all" will disable all Warnings for this content -gives options after that. 'yes, no, yes to all' I don't know what to do and I am confused. Can someone please help me?
  3. http://i.imgur.com/jIYKn2A.png And my vampy got married last night. Serana and a bunch of people attended. Then again, Serana was a follower... so... yea.. lol..
  4. ooooo awesome. I really like the sound of that. I've been thinking on names. Some of the names I came up with was: Blood Pond Compound Riasc Compound Sangue Compound Folle Compound Shuizhi Compound Lamia Compound Twisted Crimson Compound Death's Thrall Compound Cold Grave Compound
  5. I'll see what I can come up with for names. ^.^ Right now, I don't got one yet, but I'm thinking. I'll probably play some sims till the name hits me. Strangely O.o Names tend to hit me when I'm watching the sims be silly. And I agree. Compound does fit nicely with it. Especially with the jail doors. Which the bar area looks awesome btw. Loving the little blood splatters, and loving the description so far. It sounds like it's turning out really cool. And the bartender looks both annoyed and kinda sad. Although I can't say I blame him. He's a jail bird-slave-bartender for a vampire lol. Sekigahara - That looks cool. ^.^ if anything, if I were to take that one, I'd do it just to mess with the guards. Leave one exit, shoot a guard, go back in ... I like toying with the guards. It's amusing. o.o ... Maybe that's why I robbed Whiterun of all it's cheese.. and sold it to the Khajiits... -thinks- ... Nope nope... that was sugar fueled randomness.. No wait.. maybe it's both XD
  6. When I typed it up, the role player side of me just sort of took over. It does that sometimes lol. Those look awesome by the way. ^.^ My fav is the Marsh Rest. I'm a bit of a sucker for swamp-marshy type places. Plus, while I can't really explain it, I just picture vampires.. Especially the older ones, enjoying places like that. Due to the seclusion type of feeling swampy places give off. I dunno.. Maybe I'm just a tad weird lol. And I do like your style. And love the idea for the vamp thralls. It'd make a lot of sense too. Rather than just everyday people there. I don't know many that would willing work for a vampire. And the idea of walking into darker places, I like that idea. Maybe a creepy element behind it or something.
  7. So just gave it a try. And for the life of me, I can't get far. Program is up for only a very short few moments, then crashes the moment I try anything. On an a slightly unrelated note, I also tried to build this in the sims just for something to do. Because I was bored. It did not turn out well on there. Also, I really appreciate the encouragement. I did give it a whirl. The program just doesn't want to cooperate it seems. Got it to zoom in slightly on what I can only guess was extremely brightly lit ground.. As it looked like grass.. Not sure if it was ground though.. Could have been a cave wall O.o for all I know. Then it crashed. That was the eighth time it's done that.
  8. I may look into that. It sounds cool, aside from making the game buggy. I just really love vampire friendly places ^.^
  9. Okay, before I begin, I want to apologize a head of time if I repeat myself anywhere in this suggestion for a home. My thoughts are a bit scattered. I'm no modder. I can come up with some ideas, although I can't put them together myself. So maybe if there's a kind modder out there that would like this idea, here it is. Anyway, here is what I've come up with for this idea. So I've had this idea buzzing around in my head ever since I stumbled upon Mara's Eye Den. What if a home could be made that resembles it? One where you can even get a steward for it and the place would be safe to store things? The idea i had is an island you discover, location I think that'd be most fitting would be.. a swamp type setting. Humble and welcoming for a vampire. I know there's already home given to the player in the swamp marshes just off of Morthal. However, the idea I had, was a home hidden in the swamp, preferably among the many pond like areas. I know some of the areas are closed off in pools by land. Was thinking what if in one of those larger pools was an island with a few swamp trees and grass and a trapdoor leading into the place? Around the little island that houses the trees and trapdoor, had an idea. Maybe some slaughterfish or mudcrabs. The island itself could have rocks, flowers/deathbell that sort of thing growing about the island. And of course the trees. Could even have bits of ruins around. Like a tower or something collapsed in the area. Maybe a small fishery. The key could be found in a rotting tree stump, on or near the island. After entering the trapdoor, it'd lead down into a sewer tunnel. Picture the tunnel in Riften when you first enter. A ladder is the only way up to that trapdoor. Walking down it, to your left is a large circle area. This could a storage area or a sitting area.. Maybe even a bar area. If a storage, could have blood and skulls scattered about. If a bar area, could have a private bartender, complete with his or her own sleeping cot. If sitting area, some worn looking wooden benches would be cool. Maybe blood speckled here and there. Go down a little ways, a smaller circle spot is found off to the right. This could be a small storage place or a training area. Maybe have it spiral down into a multi-level area of circle places. Only way down, a ladder or steps. If storage, just one level, if training, could have like one level be training dummies, the next archery, the next chests to unlock. Going further down the sewer tunnel, it'd lead to a circle piece at the end, that rounds off into a hallway. This hallway would have a set of double doors. This being where the sewer ends, a nicely decorated hallway begins. Still done in the underground/stone like build though like the shops and homes of Riften like where potions are bought type walls/floors. But nicely decorated. Maybe even a few carpets. In the circle piece, a support beam. Cause hey, gotta hold the above ground up somehow lol. The doors open up after that, revealing the hallway. The hallway is followed out a short distance before another set of doors are found. These maybe having blood splatter on them. Upon opening these doors, a bridge is found, like the one from where the moth priest is saved. It's a nice bridge. It goes out to an island. The water surrounding this is blood mixed, like the water found in Red Water Den. This could have a fire place, kitchen, nice dining area, and storage area near the kitchen. The fire place could even have a few chairs near by. Though all up to the modder. And of course, a trapdoor, ladder or stairs somewhere on the island that allows to go down to the next level of the house. This level is the bedrooms. There'd be a circle room upon reaching it. This room could have a fireplace with chairs.. a place to lounge around the warmth. Then rooms surrounding it. The master bedroom would be the largest. A double bed, dressers/clothing cabinets. Some night stands, and a hidden area. Maybe a special way to reach it. This being where sleep-able coffins are found. The other rooms would be for children, bard, and a steward to rest. Or a follower. Back in the main circle room, another set of stairs, ladder or trapdoor could be found to go to the next level. The last level.. Or could be more if the modder wants. As this was as far as I went with it. Although could be taken further. Up to whoever takes this up lol. This level, would have the main circle place a forging area complete with smelter and all that. Rooms surrounding it. These would house any craft station available. Like enchanters tables and things like that. An armory in one of the rooms. And of course storage in another. These are all ideas of course. And very open to be changed around. Just a random idea I came up with after exploring a few of the tombs. And after finding Mara's Eye Den. There's not many vampire friendly homes I noticed, and thought this would be something neat.
  10. definitely support this. it sounds like fun.
  11. i really like this idea. one of the things i love to do is play as a thief. i love the stealth factor and being able to slip in. sometimes i'm caught, other times i'm over looked. and this would certainly add more interesting perspectives.
  12. i endorse this completely. it'd certainly make things much more interesting.
  13. you mean the ships like the emperor's from the dark brotherhood quest line? i know the majority of ships all look like the viking-esk ones seen in Windhelm. i think the only one i seen that wasn't viking-esk was the emperor's.
  14. i look forward to this mod. looks like a lot of fun! ^.^
  15. I love this idea. Simply put. Though I wouldn't go as far as horns. Currently, I'm playing an 'evil' set dark elf. Would be nice to actually have some morality. Goody-goody, wouldn't be able to get near the brotherhood or the thieves guild without getting jumped.. that sort of thing. I mean seriously O.o when you think about it.. What would a 'good' set character be doing in the guild or even chasing the heels of assassins? From the beginning, I wish they would have put in different things for different morality lined characters to do. Like.. you can wipe out the dark brotherhood.. but the guild remains O.o ... I know most good people, the lioness chick in Riften coming to mind almost instantly, wants to wipe out the guild. Sees them as bad. And there's mention in the town that a lot of people have a strong dislike for the guild. Whereas bad, depending on the level of bad you are, could join the fractions and even knock miss lioness around a bit.
  16. Okay, so I was playing some skyrim earlier and talking to a friend.. And I had some really silly and funny ideas. Not many ideas, but some. As it turns out, I seem to have a talent for ticking off the guards lmao. And hearing their dialoge as I pass by, got me to thinking.. What if one were able to tell the guards off or be a smartass and be sarcastic to the guards? The ideas I had are: 1. Being able to be a smartass/sarcastic. - example: Solstiene Guard: ....One moment.. You look...familiar... player: (the player could have a number of different options to be able to respond with. but this is one that came to mind for me lol) - .. oh? you don't say... and so do you.. oh wait.. i know why.. you look like all the other guards! -- after this, I'd imagine you could just casually stroll off, or if you've seriously ticked off the guards, end up with a higher bounty. 2. Be able to insult the guards! I mean why not? You can already assault them.. Arrow to the face, sword to the chest.. Dagger to the throat.. Spells to wherever...and so on.. But there is so far no option to be able to insult them. Again, I'd imagine it'd result in some form of bounty or even slightly annoying the guards.. And who knows. Maybe if you do it enough times, they eventually get sick of it and do something about it. 3. Food fight! - A way to fight.. with food as weapons. Be able to hit guards.. or even others... with pie.. to the face. And I'll stop there for now before my sugar induced randomness takes me further lol. Just were some ideas that had to come mind from a sugar high.
