First, I just tried to post this and the "Post New Topic" button glitched, just refreshing the text box, deleting all my text. So if the thread pops up later, I apologize for the double post. Now, about my issue... A while ago, i used Nexus Mod Manager to install the Tera armor pack. Recently, I used it to uninstall the mod. However, the mod is still in the game. I did a manual file check and all the files from that mod, are indeed, gone. No Meshes, no Textures, no .esm or .esp files. However, I'm still getting the armor in drops and I can craft them. However, when I equip them, that part of the body vanishes. Any ideas how to clean this up? I have a lot of mods, and I'd hate to have to reinstall all of them for the sake of one mod. Thanks for reading. :)

"Config is denied" when installing mods.
TouristMcGee replied to TouristMcGee's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
I always have UAC turned off. It's about useless anyway. Moving Steam folder since setting OBMM to run as admin did not rectify the situation. EDIT: Nope, moving Steam folder did not help. Nor did setting OBMM to run as admin. -
I posted this on the bethsoft forums, but thought I might get help here. After several years of being on the shelf, i decided to reinstall Oblivion today. That of course led to grabbing my favorite mods. Sadly, I keep getting this error: A problem occurred during install: Access to the path 'D:Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion\Data\config' is denied. Access to the path 'D:Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion\Data\config' is denied. The mod was not installed. I've never seen this with FO:3, FO:NV, Skyrim, and never before with Oblivion. I tend to use NMM, but some mods are OMOD, so i use OBMM for them, but this error will pop up on on either tool. It doesn't happen to all mods, but just some. Could really use some advice on this.

Rolling down-time this coming week on all sites
TouristMcGee replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
Oblivion Nexus worked great last night, now, here it is Tuesday morning, and back to 502, 504 errors, inability to stay logged in, etc. Good times, all around. -
Are there any mods that add bouncing to the Fook installed armors http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/34684/?? EDIT: would also like to see bouncing added to: http://newvegas.nexu...id=348179&pUp=1 And http://newvegas.nexu...om/mods/44476/? So many kool armors, but without bounce they just don't look right, imo.

Remove ammo pickup counter?
TouristMcGee replied to TouristMcGee's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Ideas
Which I agree with for everything except ammo. I've never left ammo behind. I've left other stuff behind just to get the ammo; but then, I'm a terrible shot and play on Hardcore, Very Hard difficulty with Arwen's Tweaks, so every bullet is important to me. :P -
Is there a mod or tweak to all me to pick up all the ammo in a box/corpse when I click on it? Meds, ammo casings all get picked up at once, but bullets have to have a selection menu pop up 'cause I guess we might just want a few of the bullets but not all of them? I saw the Auto Loot Mod, but it also auto unlocks doors and boxes which I do not like. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/39837

Unable to move when entering a room
TouristMcGee replied to TouristMcGee's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I think I have it resolved. I grabbed the top file from http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35794 and ran it, but didn't grab the second file as well. Once I installed that, it seems to have decided to behave for me. :) Many thanks for your advice. :) -
I'm having an issue with a few interiors, namely the second floor of the Bison Hotel in Primm. It seems that once I enter the room, nearly every moveable object and npc is piled on me, bouncing vibrating and jostling around and I cannot move. I'm trying to figure out which mod is causing this, so I'm posting my load order hoping someone knows of a precedent for this. Active Mod Files: EDIT: It's ILO. Not sure why, I have the latest version, but as soon as I disable that, things seem to be working properly.

I'm inclined to agree.

ENBs should not be allowed on the front page
TouristMcGee replied to JarlBrogruf's topic in Site Support
I don't even know what "ENB" means, and since my pc likely can't push such pretty visuals, I haven't downloaded one, but I have been curious about where they're all coming from. I looked for the "original" mod the other day just to see what it was all about, but too many to sift through when I don't really know what the mod is. :P TL;DR: Please stop cluttering the site with various versions of the same mod. -
I have no doubt that this has been asked, but I could not find an answer via google. Is there a mod or tweak to allow players to keep the horizontal bow stance when not sneaking? I know there was one in oblivion, and I really would like it in skyrim.

Is there a mod or .ini tweak to rebind my Pipboy light to a different key so it's more of an instant switch on/off rather than a hold and wait key?

Load Loose Files not staying checked
TouristMcGee replied to lumpylemons's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
While that's certainly a possibility for some, I know it's not the issue with my setup. -
Load Loose Files not staying checked
TouristMcGee replied to lumpylemons's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I have mods that specifically state to check the "Load Loose Files" button, but it doesn't stay checked and when I do check it and load the game, the changes aren't visible. So I'm assuming that the game unchecks that little box before even loading. -
Thanks for the replies. :) Nice pics. Really like the second one. :)

I've seen a few screenshots out there where people are using hair mods and the hair isn't clipping through the hat. It looks quite nice, but I either get severe clipping, or the hat just removes the hair completely. How are people using custom hair mods without getting clipping on hats?

Difficulty beyond "Very Hard"?
TouristMcGee replied to TouristMcGee's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
I too miss MMM, but prefer NV mostly because FO3 seemed to have too many subway tunnels. -

Difficulty beyond "Very Hard"?
TouristMcGee replied to TouristMcGee's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
I didn't get the companions to increase the difficulty, guess i worded my op poorly. I have them just to keep the, "player is center of universe" factor down a bit. Thanks for the link, will check that out. :) EDIT: That link is for a FO3 mod... -
I'm finding that with even a couple of companions, the game's "Very Hard" setting is just not very hard, so I decided to download a mod to change this. The sheer list, however, is daunting. I really could use some advice on this.

Missing pipboy! HELP PLEASE!!
TouristMcGee posted a topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I tried using: Pipboy to PSVita http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=42073#fileanchor but it didn't work, so I uninstalled the folders and esp, but I still have no pipboy! Could really really use some help, a.s.a.p.! Please and thank you. -
Load order review/advise please?
TouristMcGee replied to TouristMcGee's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Couldn't find anything about FNVEdit in the FAQ's. Did it say if Bashed Patch or the FNVEdit merged patch should be at bottom of the list? -
Load order review/advise please?
TouristMcGee replied to TouristMcGee's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Didn't even know FOMM could do that. I only use it for mods that have the installer and for that archive invalidation.
