Twitter Inactive Accounts Policy is very stupid
gabrielrock19 replied to gabrielrock19's topic in Off-Topic
Dude, you don't know the half of it. Their support is 100% bots. I have an artist profile on X as pretty much every other artist trying to grow a modest following and show/sell his work, but I realized the algorithm was punishing for not paying. You fight for scraps of engagement on the basic plan. One day I tried investing some money to "quick promote" a post (there's a button called "Promote" next to posts if you have a creator account). I filled in the data, selected my target audience and was ready to pay $25 just to test how things would go. Then... The site glitched and the buttons vanished. I was told by users around the internet that you needed to message support so they could fix it. I sent a direct message to X Ads Support and... nothing. They answered nothing. Time kept passing and I thought: "Maybe this system is glitched. Let's try the Ads System". I log in to the Ads Interface. The formal Ads System has much more options regarding demographics, age, target audience, interests etc. than the quick promote feature. All right. So I fill every form and get ready to pay $25 to test run it. But then... the system glitches and tells "X is waiting for your premium verification to be reviewed" so the ad campaign can actually run. Is this for real? After a lot of thinking, I purchased yearly premium and suddenly... the quick promote button "mysteriously reappeared". The Ads were greenlit and I could finally pay for a limited campaign test. This is sketchy as hell. Like, the tactics. They're all shady. They disguise these bugs as bait to supposedly lure you in, but there's no real indication of any outcome. Support doesn't give a damn if you're not premium. To this day they didn't answer my ticket. And yes, you NEED premium to run Ads on X. Even if they pretend otherwise. Couldn't they be transparent about it? Do they think "glitching out" someone right as the ads are about to go through so they can "be forced" to buy a premium service will work? I'll tell you why it "worked" with me: it's because X is a big social network with a lot of user engagement. That's why. If it wasn't, no one would actually tolerate this crap so they could try to make a living. This is as stupid as it gets. Shady and dumb. I mean what the f...? One last surprise: X told me "The Staff" would review my account so they could add the blue checkmark, and that this process could take some time. But I refreshed the page and... There it was, the blue checkmark. What?! That took a second at most. There's barely any human staff there. I'm very sure 90% of Support is run by AI. God Damn. Elon is a trash can. -
"NCR's all over Primm, steer clear." "I heard the Securitrons on the strip..." "You heard there was some kind of shootout on one of them casinos on the strip..." The FNV vanilla rumor dialogue could use a rework, especially with AI technology. Anyone up for the task?

CTD Fix That Truly Works - Simple, good for noobs like me
gabrielrock19 replied to JoeDazzling's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
I'm staying away from OP's guide. An explanation like this Is not only badly written - it seems made up. I (and maybe you) should look for guides that actually explain how the game's engine works in terms of code. Not only that, PCB and iHoursToRespawnCell... Oh, God. Where do I begin? That doesn't solve anything. It's superstition, just like the quicksave-full save dilemma and "not quitting the game with qqq" (Why? Because...?). Full saves clean running scripts? Who said that? Also, it doesn't work (I tried these methods a long, long time ago). That's impossible, by the way. There is no universal solution to CTDs, for they involve unhandled exceptions, overflows, division by zero, loops with no terminating condition or invalid memory addresses - just to name a few. The mathematical complexity of these operations is so vast that anything claiming something even close to a "fix for every crash" will be as delusional as saying there is a way to avoid getting sick. It often is not simple and is not solvable by "a little bit of maintenance". -
I'm having a problem in my game where in some cases, whenever I try saving, a freeze followed by a CTD occurs. It sometimes happens in combat as well and rarely happens in a cell. The Freeze -> CTD issue is uncommon, so the game is playable to a certain degree. It isn't that rare that does not break the game's flow, though. Makes you save while also worrying about a possible CTD happening randomly in 1 out of 10 or 15 saves, maybe less maybe more. I have a heavily modded installation, with 200 mods. Some people online always mention and recommend SSE Engine Fixes for better stability, but on its own it hasn't helped. There is a configuration file but I have very little experience with it. Any tips?

Nevermind, I think I found it: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/26664

The Ebony Warrior added by Bethesda is always a nice challenge to face. Besides being difficult, it serves to show there are individuals out there in the world that can give your legendary char an epic battle. Are there any mods that add human enemies that are as strong/more powerful than the Ebony Warrior? I'm looking for humanoid foes but in the absence of those a good creature will do.

To anyone reading this, it's WORTH IT. Frostfall + iNeed + Campfire is way, way better than Beth's Survival Mode - it's more difficult, fun and has a lot of customizable options. And surprisingly it will make your game more stable.

I got tired of survival mode and decided to install Frostfall, iNeed, Campfire and other mods from Brodual's video. I'm going to see how the experience goes.

Request: model all clothing - or some - from all the characters of the Phantom Troupe from Hunter X Hunter: Based on the 2011 anime: Chrollo Lucilfer Hisoka Morow Machi, Feitan, Bonolenov, Pakunoda, Uvogin, Phinx, Illumi... etc. All past and present members. Their designs are excellent and it would make for a really unique and fun clothing mod. Character Overview: https://imgur.com/a/0m5dgnl

I've so far failed to find a mod giving the player the ability of a powerful, AOE like sword slash. Here's a video to showcase what I had in mind. Now, obviously I'm asking for something similar and not exactly equal. Has anyone modded a power like that for swordsmen players?

Is there a mod to give NPCs a better expression when they die? Because they all have either a neutral face or an expression of pure relief as if they just went to heaven. It's Fallout, so I think they should die in pain and terror/rigor mortis (lol).

This sort of technological immortality isn't unheard of in the Fallout universe. In fact, New Vegas' own proof of such concept is right there in the Lucky 38. Mr. House has preserved his body in a stasis chamber and connected his mind to a computer mainframe where he can think and act. The courier's immortality would function just a little different - instead of a body projecting his mind to somewhere else, his brain would send command signals to a remote, far away body that could be controlled at will. In that sense the Courier and Mr. House would be the only potential candidates for immortality in the series (unless I'm forgetting something from Fallout 1 and 2?) I also have no idea of how this idea could come to fruition. It would probably have to rely heavily on NVSE and other scripting libraries to work.

I DON'T have any hopes that anyone will ever mod this idea into a fully functional add-on. I'm just posting here to - you know - let people know just how cool it is. It basically involves making the courier immortal while his brain is in the organ room in Big Mountain, i.e if he has the "brainless" perk. This mod would revolve around a few core premises: 1. The courier's consciousness would be safely stored inside a tank in big mountain. This means he cannot truly be killed. 2. If the courier is killed in combat, dies from radiation or otherwise suffers any other type of death that doesn't involve the destruction of the brain tank, only his body would be lost. 3. His body being lost means his race, gender, looks, perks, level and everything related to this previous body would be lost. A new body would have to be crafted by the Sink or the Big MT scientists if they're still alive. The courier's new body could have another appearance or gender, but it would *Not* have level progress and it could not redo any quests. 4. Only quest progress and world altering events made before the courier's "death" would be kept. This means the player could play the game after he died (if he has the brainless perk). This also means the player, in many ways, would have to start much of his progress from scratch. That's it, basically. I always thought it was weird a system like this wasn't in place if your brain is kept safely away from your body since Obsidian is such an intelligent studio. Why are you forced to reload after dying even if your brain is far away from your body? I know it's due to time constraints and such, but this idea seems really lore-friendly to me - especially in a world of Fallout where this kind of weird advanced technology is possible. Most people would probably reload and "win" to keep their progress, even if they had the mod installed. This mod's target audience is to those who would like to experience this situation without reloading, likely hardcore players/completionists, etc.

Is there a TTW mod (or any old Fallout 3 mod) that changes the appearance of the aliens in mothership zeta into really scary monsters or at least better looking ones? (also the alien easter egg in New Vegas which reuses Fallout 3 files). The aliens are ridiculous. Fighting a horde of Xenomorphs would be much more fun in a F- DLC where I always rush though the horrible dialogue and play only to get the unique gear.

Okay, uhm... can you give the long answer? I'm curious to an user's personal experience of it before trying it out.

There's Always Clear Weather and Clear Weather only, but there isn't Clear Weather With Better Lightning. The lighting shader, sun rays shader or whatever visual effects this specific weather has is the only major downside of every weather mod. They innovate on colors, backgrounds, rain, light effects for every other type of weather, yet the clear one is almost always left untouched. Every clear weather I've seen is boring, uninspired, dull and to be honest, kind of ugly. Is there a mod that makes the light better or adds a new effect to clear weather?

@jjb54 Frostfall/Camping/Realistic Needs? And what do they do? They're a better version of Survival mode?
