  1. Anyone know which armor mod this is? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yj_CpfJfuoM&t=207s Youtube video with the armor.
  2. Thanks! I didn't realize the page gave per game statistics!
  3. I wish I could see how many mods Skyrim had total on the Nexus over time. I'm curious if the number of Skyrim mods fell after release of Fallout 4, and whether the new mods made per year for Skyrim is increasing or decreasing. Is there any publicly available info for that?
  4. This is a comment. Hi. How are you? It's cold today.
  5. It would be nice to have different lists for tracked mods. For example, a list for just texture mods, one for gameplay mods, etc. My current project requires me to keep tabs on countless texture mods, most of which I will never use. This actually puts me in an awkward position where it becomes hard to keep track of the mods I actually use to play the game.
  6. I am being told that turning off Vsync via ini is bad. Turning Vsync off via drivers or ENB, fine. Ini, bad. I am told multiple sources say this, yet I do not know of one that does. Can somebody confirm if this advice is sound, and if so, why? I am playing Skyrim with Vsync off in ini and Vsync off in Inspector for years and I never noticed anything strange. This is not the typical 'NEVER TURN VSYNC OFF' argument. --- My understanding of it is this: The only problems with Vsync off is high frame rates. High frame rates (100+) can cause a number of side effects (clutter flying around, death by wheelbarrow, flickering in and out of water for no reason). Limiting the framerate prevents this from happening if the limit is not too high. (There are concerns about loading times when limited via Inspector but that's besides the point.) Turning off Vsync manually in Inspector turns off Vsync in menus as well, which turning off Vsync in ini does not. So in essence, there's no real reason to turn off Vsync in ini because it could be turned off elsewhere to the same or greater effect. But it's not harmful to do so.
  7. As somebody who goes around to many texture packs separately and makes adjustments and notes on individual files, going in and out of folders and mod folders, I am a bit worried about the more NMM like system. I don't know the NMM system and it's hard to imagine how anybody could improve upon that system for how I was using it. I don't sweat the name Vortex. I find it easier to type than NMM anyways, having to press and hold the shift key. Good luck, I'm sure the guys know this is a very important project.
  8. I'd like to double post to say that your idea worked, thanks! Let it be known to the stranger stumbling in here from Google that this is how you solve this problem.
  9. Thanks for the idea, I'll give it a shot.
  10. Hey, How do I change the order in which saves show up in the load menu? It doesn't look like the save file name has any impact. Thanks
  11. In response to post #47393330. Vortex, the ultimate in mod management!!!
