  1. I couldn't find a Werebear representation, but if the potential author is willing to take some creative liberties, he should go for it!
  2. After looking at some of this artist's work, I was wondering why these textures/models haven't been added to the game as a mod yet. So, I'll leave the pictures and the links here, because it needs to be a thing. 3. Great to see you're back in the game. It's certainly been awhile since we had updates. High-Function Autism? Same here. I've been diagnosed since I was 6. I'm near 21 now.
  4. Well there's a kickstarter out for a good one that's in the works. It's simply called Dragon: The Game. I've played the Pre-Alpha for the game. I will tell you it has a long way to go. FYI, the actual name of the second character is Cynder, and is a surprisingly interesting character, from my experience with the Legend of Spyro. They honestly need to do a new Spyro Game similar to Legend of Spyro, other than the incredibly sad Skylanders Series. I haven't seen Spyro in the promotional art as of late, either. Strange... I've played Trove, as I mentioned before, and let me tell you it gets really difficult once you reach the Uber Worlds, Uber-1 being fairly difficult and Uber-3 being Trove's equivalent to Dark Souls. And it goes all the way to Uber-6. I'm not looking forward to it in the slightest. Also be ready for a grind, because it'll take awhile to git gud at the game. *I hate you Dark Souls...*
  5. I play Trove, and have been playing it for quite sometime. Mastery Rank 23, if I remember correctly. And yes, Dracolyte is pretty fun, but at the later levels he feels somewhat underpowered... I have rage sessions trying to beat even regular enemies on Uber-3 and beyond.
  6. I don't think there is a mod for gecko affinity (as your describing it), much less a list. Probably some good gecko follower mods though. I think I made a simple one with a Gila Gecko a long time ago, pic; Well this is the request forum, so it's the place to get in contact with a mod author. I think the more detailed you are in describing the request the better your chances that someone may help out. I found Torch, so the Gecko Companion has already been handled. I was hoping for only geckos, but I guess that'll be as close as I'll get...
  7. Hey, guys. Back with a little mod request. I'm looking for mods that would fit a playthrough in which my character has a powerful, unexplained affinity to the Geckos of the Mojave Wastes. Because of that, he feels a Gecko's pain when it's injured, and sickens him when he is forced to kill one of the buggers. It's a dynamic I hope to express both in the roleplay and the gameplay of the Let's Play. Feel free to give a list, and maybe get me in contact with a mod author to get a mod for the playthrough made, since the modding language is rather foreign to me.
  8. How do you guys feel about the recent Workshop announcement, to monetize mods?
  9. Once this comes out, I'll assemble a collection of mods to finally get back to playing Skyrim. Feels like an eternity since I've played, let alone do a let's play...
  10. Hey, guys, Lunis here with another mod request. Does anyone notice that, when you look at mods that add dialogue to existing characters, the characters in question are silent? Not only does this break immersion, but if the character is actually saying something important, those who didn't enable subtitles won't have a clue what they're saying. That is why I'm here today. Voice Actor Overhaul is a mod idea that makes it so the vanilla voices are switched out for custom voices by multiple voice actors. This means that the voice actors will have to say every line in the game, possibly in several different ways, as well as giving more unique characters the unique actor they deserve. Although the acting is important in the long run, in truth the mod is meant to be used alongside other voiced mods. An example is the The Paarthurnax Dilemma, where you are given the option of sparing Paarthurnax. However, there is no audio for the Blade's reactions to the forceful dialogue you give them. This mod is aimed at mod authors who want to involve the vanilla characters in a mod not intended by Bethesda, and no voice acting was made for such an idea. As such, I may consider this a modder's resource rather than a full fledged mod, because the mod will not have any point of being made otherwise.
  11. I got to a certain point and found myself stuck. I'm getting the problem sorted out, but here is where I've been able to get to.
  12. I finally got around to getting the .nif file I need for one of my mods, but now I am really stuck. The screenshot below details how far I was able to get, and, possibly, as far as I could go with the resources I have.
  13. Hello, everyone! Lunis Here with a special... uh, what should I call it? WIP Help? Help Wanted Poster? Oh, screw it! You came here for a particular reason. And, that is to see a dang dragon follower. Well... I don't got a clue. I think the hardest part of forging a custom follower is to make the follower exactly as you like it. I haven't been able to import the data for a Dragon mesh (it would be awesome if someone were able to supply it, because getting the .nif file into Blender is proving frustrating. You can find my clueless investigation here), and finding the right texture for what I had in mind is proving difficult. The idea first started out as a Mod Request (because... well, I, for some reason, can't mod), and I can link the original link here. Now, i'm tackling the mod myself after some consideration. Now, you might be wondering: Who is Ohm? I actually made a Bio for him, linked here. To sum up the Bio, if you're not bothering to read it, Ohm is the last surviving follower of the Divine known as Terra, a common theme for my Elder Scrolls tribute. Because of this, Ohm can access a human form (more specifically, a Breton), and can switch between his human and Draconian form at anytime, although it pains him to do. He sustained serious injuries that ripple to this day, rendering him land-bound. His form will clearly show it, his left wing carrying a devastating scar reaching his shattered wing bones, and several scars on his body and head. His scales are a deep indigo (not Indigo the follower), mixed in with black and grey, and his eyes are bright green. Now, onto personality. Ohm's voice is quite soft for a Dragon, sounding much like a young Breton (the human form he takes), but his voice can also show some anguish, due to his injuries. His demeanor is rather friendly, but he can be blunt sometimes when he feels it is necessary. Because of the trauma of his wounds, he dreads every moment he is within close proximity of enemies, the dread spiking with every hit. (Ohm's voice would be custom made. The actor will need to intelligently switch between a soft voice for calming moments, and a voice of anguish during times of stress. Lines will also let the player know that he wants the nearby enemies off of him). Now, gameplay. Ohm is a Magicka-based fighter, using a wide assortment of spells in both forms. He also tries to keep enemies at a distance with spells and shouts that grow with the player. Because of Ohm's species type, his stats match that of a leveling Blood Dragon. Also, as you may have already guessed, Ohm is land-bound. This means he cannot fly around the battlefield in Dragon form, but his armor is stronger in his Draconian form, anyways. Ohm hates using weapons, and will never equip them under any circumstance (except for Staves, obviously). You can tell him to switch into his dragon form, but only if outside a city and in the open, or he could do it automatically when he sees fit (which is rarely, and with a cooldown outside combat except when approaching a city/town). In his true form, his uses a fitting variety of attacks, which range from magic pulses, tail swings, plasma spreading, among other techniques (I'm looking at you, tktk!) There will be a short quest chain to acquire Ohm's trust, unlocking new abilities along the way (this includes revealing his true form to you, as he starts out in Human form). I won't go into details, because that part is still in the works. Anyways, I need assistance with scripting, voice-overs, and quest structure, so, if anyone really wants to help, let me know. Every tip helps!
  14. Alright, I actually wrote a reference to a book in the Terra Bio page, titled "Guardian of Men", which was written by Ohm under his pen-name. I will definitely start writing the contents of the book soon, and I'll let you guys know when it's finished.
  15. I just thought of something else. I realized that cloaks take up the Tail slot, so Khajiit and Argonians have their tails removed to accommodate the cloak. I may have to look back at old videos to see if this is true, but I think it would be a great plugin to create a new slot for Cloaks (unless it has been done already, then my apologies).
  16. Now there is the case of extracting the individual files. Apparently the tutorial you provided is slightly out of date (it uses Oblivion as a necessity), and there doesn't seem to be a point to use BSAopt, then I can't find how to extract the individual .nif files (including which ones to extract, as you might have guessed). So... I'm lost...
  17. I took a look at the mod. I was highly unimpressed. The mod I was intending was to add and/or replace spells that can be used alongside weapons that have a sort of Projectile. Many of the Witchhunter spells listed in the are weapon augmentations, what I was intending was that you could throw fireballs at an enemy like you did in Oblivion and/or TESO. I was slightly inspired by Smart Cast for this, but not in a sense that it would be overpowered (and the animations for spell casting are not-existent in the mod). It's more of an immersion thing.
  18. You needed to create a BSA file to store the NIF files for some odd reason. Is there something else that I need to do? Also, I'm not entirely sure how the NIF plugin for Blender works. I use the latest version (which is 2.71 as of now), so I am not sure the directions are up to date.
  19. Alright, I exported the BSA files, but I can't import to Blender, which can't load BSA files. What next?
  20. Hey, guys! I'm having trouble exporting a Dragon Model to a 3D Modeling Program (Blender) to edit it for a custom follower. However, I've hit a snag. Not that I have problems with exporting (mainly because I have little clue how), but with the Creation Kit itself. Every time I boot up the Creation Kit, none of the game data seems to load with it (meaning the object view is completely empty), and everything else doesn't seem to load in properly, either. For example, I can only boot up the player object (but it is empty because I haven't started a game, yet), but everything else either doesn't exist or I haven't encountered any of them yet (but, that would also be wrong because I did load the world with a Skyrim save, i.e. going part-way through the Helgen sequence). Otherwise, I'm stuck. For this, I ask two things. First, what happened to the game files? The game is modded to hell, but this shouldn't be an issue...Second, how do you export a model from the Creation Kit? I've attempted it with the Sims 3 (which I am also having problems with, but I'm getting some help on the Mod the Sims forum, link here), but I have never exported anything from the creation kit. Now, the mod I have in mind for exporting a dragon is called Ohm the Devout, which I need help with for scripting and voice work. The thread can be found here, but if anyone wants to volunteer, please send me a message!
  21. Just so you know, guys, I'm looking for artists to give a visual look for some of the characters in my Fan Story. The original link can be found here. NOTE: This was posted on the ESO Forums, not the Nexus, so be warned...
  22. I wonder... how much scripting would this take?
