  1. Genetic Engineering scares me... and I've already pointed out why in example from my previous thread. How would something like that not occur, especially when it becomes the norm in society? Although a separate debate, racism goes along the same subject here and how it will never go away. How would something like this be prevented in regards to G.E.? What about those those that aren't genetically altered for superiority? What happens to them? And as far as separating science and science fiction, often the two are mingled together. Several technological and scientific breakthroughs were based on science fiction. And obviously, science fiction is often based on actual science, usually idealogical science.
  2. No need to be rude about it and laugh. It's just simple speculations. Geez. Here's what I found on the controls: "We're pleased to report that the game's controls still feel pretty tight when using a Classic Controller and closely match the PSP scheme. You can also use a Wii Remote and Nunchuk combination to get the job done, and while Capcom wasn't able to confirm it, we expect that GameCube controllers will also work. Unfortunately there's still no option to lock the camera onto your current monster, but the L2 button will reset the camera behind you, and the right analog stick can be used to pan the camera." So that would probably be the same thing as locking on target. Also, a gamer that has the Japanese version said the controls for the remotes are surprisingly smooth and that he actually prefers it over the classic controller. Pictures of some of the armors look pretty sweet, and so does that sea dragon!
  3. ahh, but you guys have got to remember this game is being designed specifically for the Wii. I'm sure they will accomodate the controls to the traditional remote and nuns. I'm currently playing Zelda and find it not really that difficult as far as the swinging goes. It's actually quite awesome since it gives you the feel that you're actually wielding a sword in real life. As far as swinging yourself off the mark, Zelda has a lock-on target type button that I'd be willing to bet will be a feature on MHT.
  4. Have you guys played Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess? I imagine the controls will be similar to those, but with more control over the angles of your slashes. If so, it'll be awesome! I'll probably be using the Remote and Nuns at first just for that reason alone. I'm going to have to stop watching this thread. You guys got me wanting this game bad! Geez, we still have well over a month to go too!
  5. How about this? It just needs to be finished. :D Umaril the Dragon
  6. What happened to Shaboks Purgatorium? The file no longer exists.
  7. I wonder if you'll be able to take your single player into multiplayer game play and vice versa or if you'll have to create two separate characters.
  8. Well I can't wait for this game then. Sounds awesome. I'll probably be a swordsman myself. I love giant swords. LOL, i even made one for Oblivion. Anyways, I have a Wii and it'll be interesting to see how they program the controls for it. Btw, Mr. Master, is that a MH monster on your avatar? That thing looks awesome.
  9. I never really got into the MH series because it looked like all you were doing was fighting dinosaurs, at least from the screen shots. Are there going to be actual monsters rather than just dinos?
  10. I haven't seen anything finished from this resource yet. If anyone would like to take this on, it'd be quite awesome. It's a dragon mesh. The saiden storm akatosh mounts could probably be incorporated with it, so that might be a good foundation to work on with it. This is the resource: Umaril the dragon Thanks for looking at the request.
  11. I really liked Castlevania 2 for the nes. It had a unique RPG-like feel to it and the flame whip was just awesome. But, I haven't really played any of the other games after Castlevania 3 though, which btw, I liked too.
  12. Just look for any armor mod in the files, nearly all of them are for the pc only.
  13. It's the best combat mod out there, but as stated, just be sure to read the entire readme for all the features on it.
  14. No, it wasn't. About Midas, yes, but that's not the purpose of the thread, merely the answer. You have questions about it, as on the mod's page. "...related to his topic since it involved morphing." I also said, " Disregard the question." Here, I'll just go ahead and make it easier too and delete out the question from the first post. Also, the Mod Detectives thread is for mods that actually do exist and you know that they exist, is it not? You're not supposed to ask if one exists and not know.
  15. lol, that was regarding the midas magic mod, which is in this thread, and related to his topic since it involved morphing. But hey, I'll back off. Disregard the question.
  16. Aren't those two standalone mods without FCOM? FCOM just combines them. Perhaps its OOO vs MMM that's the problem. I'm guessing there, but I use MMM without either OOO or FCOM and I don't have that kind of issue.
  17. I was hoping there was an option in the CS that I just wasn't seeing. I'm not very good with scripting, and what's listed I have no clue on, but at least it's pointing me to the right direction. I thank you for the reply. First things first though, I have to try to figure out how to "paste over" the armor to a new boundequipment spell. There's a lot of separate meshes.
  18. I'm wanting to make a spell that alter's your form, ie shapeshifting, and I'm wanting it to do so with the use of a spell. Is it possible to make a spell effect that turns off and on by casting and then recasting to turn it off? The only other way I know to do it is just to make it a timed spell. What I'm thinking of is using a similar spell to what the Mythic Dawn uses to change their unarmored stature to the full bound armor set.
  19. huh  Lol, I'm just poking fun of your post. You said you only [bothered to] read half the posts on this topic and it struck me funny in a slightly offensive way. Why should someone read all of your posts if you're not going to bother reading theirs? Don't take me serious though. I'm just joshing. :whistling: But to get back on topic, I think stealth/cloaking for mechs would be an awesome addition to the genre. Can you imagine sneaking up on a mech and then popping out of stealth to unload a full alpha strike?! That gives me thrill chills!
  20. Yeah, that probably won't be much of a big deal. As long as I can still get my Mad Cat and Mad Cat markII, I'll be happy. Btw, I love that signature Artmiser!
  21. Having a lot of fun with this so far. One thing I don't like is the generic-ness of items that are found. There's no special weapons so far that I can tell. Don't really care for some of the weapon graphics either. The dragon parts are absolutely fun! They really implimented that very well. I just wish you could attack ground enemies. Hopefully an expansion or patch might adjust that. I really like the game because of this feature. I still like Oblivion more though, but will have to say the dragon part makes this game stand apart.
