Good afternoon. My sons were on the PC all morning. They are now barred from even looking at it :D :D

Drummed into me all the way through school, good grammar, perfect spelling... huh if kids can get away with writing gobbly dee gook in text messages, then I can get away with not putting a capital letter here and there so there :armscrossed: I ban you for being a bossy boots lmao :teehee: :teehee:

That's just what I was about to say as a remedy. I often find potato fields behind my sons' ears. It seems to be quite a habit for boys (not washing their ears properly that is). :D :D : D

Good to see you all well, happy and mostly sane :D :D :D
-
The proper response is "Good morning to you"

Hello, good morning all.

Oh ha dee ha ha. I'll leave you boys to have your fun whilst I go to bed and sleep for a few hours. Play nice and behave. :D :D :D

But surely more people than just me shop around for the best deal on games even if I have more than one version of it. For example I have the disk and digital versions of Dragon Age Origins, Awakening and II. I waited for the digital versions to fall in price warranted but still The Darkness II was released in February, just about 6 months ago now. I do think that sometimes these companies just don't think about the user.

I just don't believe steam. I've just played The Darkness II Demo (and considering I hate shooter games, I'm totally blown away, pardon the pun) Went to the store page and its £39.99 to buy. Thought "Oh s***" and put it on the wishlist. Went to Amazon to take a look at the disk version and guess what I've bought it for £14.60 and its the Limited Edition version, brand new. What the hell is going on with Steam and its pricing?

I had that tube down the throat for Gastro-Aesophigal Reflux, or Acid Reflux, and I felt so embarrassed when I had it done awake because there was the doc and 4 nurses in the room and I was gagging like mad and trying not to laugh at the noises I was making  I wish I let them put me under! Me too, I asked them to but the consultant talked me out of it. I found it hysterically funny trying to find my happy place whilst also trying to convince myself I wasn't choking to death on a rubber pipe stuffed down my throat. They did a countdown on the 15 minutes it was gonna take to do the examination and minor procedure ie taking away the polyps and a biopsy. The "little scratch" that they tell you wont hurt which then feels like they're trying to pull your stomach out of your mouth, was just too much for me I guess after it all finished. I felt so silly fainting "after" the fact rather than during it. I was put straight to bed once I got home and slept for hours. It was a shock to say the least.

lol, that's the one and I'm fine they were checking for ulcers and the like as I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and I'd been anaemic. The cause was found and not linked to stomach or bowel, but at least I know that I'm pretty healthy ie no loss of lining etc at the moment due to the syndrome. Had the one down the throat too and I was awake. Ended up in hospital though for two hours after the examination as I fainted from shock. My daughter was nigh on hysterical as one moment I was fine and the next I was on oxygen back in recovery lmao. I'm such a wimp at times.
