  1. Doing the endorsements in this manner changes the whole endorsement system for the better. For myself I found I endorsed the larger mods - usually when there was an update I would be back on the site, notice I had not endorsed it and endorse it then. But with mods that were done once and right this method failed. A wave of guilt flows over me. With this update I can see which mods I have endorsed and which I have yet to endorse. Great improvement and I hope modders will be getting more recognition because of this. On the flip side I also find myself unendorsing mods more than I did. When I disable or no longer use a mod because of an issue or it no longer fits my world view then I do unendorse. Which is good as this means the endorsements are now a clearer representation of mods that I would personally recommend. The logical downside though is if I have deleted a mod from NMM then I don't have an easy way to un-endorse it from the system. At least not using NMM.
  2. The SKSE site has a version for the beta - but presumably this is different from the official patch. I can't try it out now but I think we need to wait for SKSE to create an official update for this official patch. EDIT:I take that back. SKSE site now specifically says: Steam beta build: 1.4.8 (compatible with 1.4.21.0)
  3. I tried copying .nif files but this failed. It would be nice to have the same armor perks but just have them look different. One solution I found is http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4405 This makes craftable circlets of the armor type you have. Not as strong as the helmet (my 36 leather helmet is replaced with a 26 raan circlet - not perfect but reasonable).
  4. I am suddenly getting this too - have the newest version 1.3.10. Newest Nvidia beta driver. Tons of mods. Latest skse, Tesval.dll and the list goes on. skyrim character manager, skse_loader ... the works. What I did notice is Skyrim starts the first time every time when I reboot. So I reboot. This leads me to believe it is one of the drivers. On the other hand with the new versions of everything my frame rate is now through the roof. So I have that going for me.
  5. Under FULL you can enter the new name. But in the hex editor add 00 (the number) to indicate end of string. Otherwise a funny box appears after the name when your cursor is on them in the game For armor, what I ended up doing for Aela (I wanted her to have the same armor, but I wanted to upgrade and enchant what she had) I ended up putting her default to a dress and then taking away all she owned and giving her the improved armor. This worked and she has been wearing the new armor ever since.
  6. Spoiler. I believe you will find this is not a bug and not something to be fixed.
  7. Updated to 1.3 just now and while looking at the map in skyrim my system crashed to blue screen. It was something like nvldkmm.sys that choked. I have been keeping everything uptodate except Skyrim - using a pre 1.2 version and disabled steam and everything was fine - followed the STEP mod suggestions. But this crash is a first for me. Going to try and remove the new skse patch but I think I might be going back to my saved copy ... sigh. ---- UPDATE - removed the beta skse 1.3 dll and everything is fine. After about an hour of game play no issues. The frame rate is improved and things seem fine. Good. Haven't had to remove a mod.
