  1. Save the ammo, take out all legs, then go around with a bat.
  2. Whatever you do, do not waste hours of your life trying to shimmy walls into place to "rebuild" the blown out houses like I did. Here is mine at Tenpines http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=566290117 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=566290189 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=566290263 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=566290334
  3. Or a shotgun to the head.Might be effective at normal difficulty, but on survival always go for the legs. I only whish i had a ghoul slaying 10mm for exactly this purpose.
  4. Nope, they done suck. Wish you could just scrap them like the wrecked ones in sanctuary.
  5. Everyone wants better sorting. I don't think it's gonna happen until the 'official' mod tools get released. And I think it should sort on base weapon type rather than ammo type, since ammo type can change. It should have been made to sort that way in the first place, first by type then by name.
  6. Yeah, take the whole ...steamapps\common\fallout4 directory. Install steam on the new system and put the files back into steamapps\common\fallout4 before installing FO4. I passed around a USB drive to my flatmates to dodge racking up 75gb on our internet quota.
  7. You don't have to re-download it. Put the game files in the new steam library before your install the game. When you install to that location it will discover the files and basically do a 'verify'.
  8. The minutemen that were present for the fight are labeled as persistent and will not automatically be removed if/when they are killed. You will need to manually mark these for deletion or disable them. Most the other NPCs in the world don't have this problem though. "if" they are killed!?! The first one died about 2 seconds into the fight when he got sprayed by death goo. I suppose on lower difficulty he might have lived, but the death goo basically kills in one shot. The only "Minutmen" in my castle showed up after the carnage.
  9. I have Minutemen goo in the Castle. A constant reminder of the massacre that happened while I hid in the corridors.
  10. I didn't know I wanted to know how to do that that until now.
  11. Those last few minutes with the tree house had some good stuff. Moving whole structures and the clipping trick are actually extremely cool... I've previously struggled with assembly/dissambly to get larger structures lined up, now I'll just move the whole damn thing. Something he didn't mention (maybe he's not a primarily PC player), if you hold E not only can you raise and lower with the mouse wheel, but you can actually adjust the position by moving the mouse as well. It gives very fine control that you cant easily get any other way.
  12. I have also been cheated out of a point in perception. There must be a way to get to 11... if the bobbleheads can do it, then someone will probably figure it out. you can get it to 11 with the console, if you don't mind cheating slightly. I don't really consider it cheating, cause i would have been able to get it to 11 if i hadn't picked up the bobblehead too soon  I assume player.setav? It will work past 10 and stick? In order to maintain the correct number of level/perk points I suppose you'd have to set yourself back to 9, spend the point to 10, then set youtself to 11.
