  1. Boss doesn't show, that some of the mods are dirty, and LOOT does. Same goes for compatibility issues between mods.I use WAC,and fake esp combined with MOO,MMM,and Francesco, and I didn't know, that WAC.esm is problematic with my install, until I did a random scan with LOOT,and saw a big warning about compatibility. I've already had a high level character at this point,so I didn't start over. Maybe it's best to use both,or stick to LOOT,hence it's being up to date. I just ran BOSS and a html page popped up with information about Bash Tags, uncleaned mods and other stuff. It warned that wac.esm was incompatible with other overhaul mods.
  2. Wrye Bash is easier to use than OBMM since OBMM requires you to convert the mod to an OMOD before you can install it. With Wrye Bash you just install it. 1. Move the mod to the folder called "Bash Installers" 2. Start Wrye Bash 3. Click on the Installers tab 4. Right click on the mod and select "Install" 5. Click on the Mods tab 6. Select the esp and click on space to activate it 7. run BOSS or LOOT to sort your load order 8. (optional) Right click on Bashed Patch, 0.esp and select "Rebuild Patch..." if you want to auto fix most of the conflicts between your mods. Ok, that was 8 steps but still much easier than OBMM. More than 95% of all mods are packaged in a way that is recognized by Wrye Bash and in case it isn't it's easy to repackage it yourself since you just need to place the files in the same way in the package as you would install them manually.
  3. I use the latest version of Wrye Bash and BOSS and haven't noticed any issues. What's the problem with using them together? I didn't even know Wrye Bash had support for BOSS. What exact features am I missing now when the support has been removed? I only use BOSS to sort my load order and that works as good as it has always have.
  4. Maybe the Wrye Bash installer can't find it because you use the steam version.
  5. I don't know what that means. I installed the 2017 version as the readme tells you to do. If I remember correctly there is a working link on Loot's homepage since Loot also has 2017 as requirement if I remember correctly. I installed that one and CSE works for me but at the same time it also crashes a lot so maybe I'm not using the right version after all. When I searched on google I found a lot of different versions with different hashes, if anyone of them were more correct than the other I don't know. Regarding .NET Framework the readme says 4.0+. Maybe "+" means that everything above 4.0 is okay. I don't remember which version I installed.
  6. I have version 307beta3. Cbash is still beta in this one but I've read somewhere that cbash works well for Oblivion but not for the other games. Some advantages with cbash: * it can merge more record types into the bashed patch and will thus save you more esp slots. In my current build I think 25 slots or so is saved thanks to that. * some mods have cbash as a requirement so cbash is the only way to play them. Oblivion DLC Delayer and Storms and Sounds Patches are two examples. Some disadvantages: * seems to be less stable when rebuilding the bashed patch and can crash if you use mods with bugs. There is a very old and outdated cobl patch for BC for example that will crash cbash unless you manually clean it first. I guess if it's worth to use depends on your situation.
  7. I don't get any error messages with regular bashed patch but cbash is much better (it saves you a lot more esp slots for example) so I use it.
  8. The only files in my load order are: Oblivion.esm Cobl Main.esm Waalx Animals & Creatures.esm When I rebuild the bashed patch (cbash) I get this error message: Collection (153522C8) contains the following modfiles: Load Order (00), Name(Oblivion.esm) Load Order (01), Name(Cobl Main.esm) Load Order (02), Name(Waalx Animals & Creatures.esm) Load Order (03), Name(c:\users\brightone\appdata\local\temp\WryeBash_temp\Bashed Patch, 0.esp.tmp) mgef_name: {RawMGEFCode(CUDI): u'Cure Disease', RawMGEFCode(ZDAE): u'Summon Daedroth', RawMGEFCode(ZLIC): u'Summon Lich', RawMGEFCode(RSPA): u'Resist Paralysis', RawMGEFCode(COCR): u'Command Creature', RawMGEFCode(FOFA): u'Fortify Fatigue', RawMGEFCode(BAGA): u'Bound Gauntlets', RawMGEFCode(Z007): u'Summon Ravenous Hunger', RawMGEFCode(BASH): u'Bound Shield', RawMGEFCode(BRDN): u'Burden', RawMGEFCode(FOMM): u'Fortify Magicka Multiplier', RawMGEFCode(FRNZ): u'Frenzy', RawMGEFCode(Z005): u'Summon Bear', RawMGEFCode(SHLD): u'Shield', RawMGEFCode(ZWRA): u'Summon Faded Wraith', RawMGEFCode(ABSP): u'Absorb Magicka', RawMGEFCode(DRAT): u'Drain ', RawMGEFCode(DRSK): u'Drain ', RawMGEFCode(REAN): u'Reanimate', RawMGEFCode(FRDG): u'Frost Damage', RawMGEFCode(Z015): u'Summon Hunger', RawMGEFCode(DGAT): u'Damage ', RawMGEFCode(Z004): u'Summon Flesh Atronach', RawMGEFCode(FOHE): u'Fortify Health', RawMGEFCode(ZFIA): u'Summon Flame Atronach', RawMGEFCode(LGHT): u'Light', RawMGEFCode(BWMA): u'Bound Mace', RawMGEFCode(ZSTA): u'Summon Storm Atronach', RawMGEFCode(DIWE): u'Disintegrate Weapon', RawMGEFCode(Z010): u'Summon Golden Saint', RawMGEFCode(ZSKA): u'Summon Skeleton Guardian', RawMGEFCode(Z018): u'Summon Stitched Flesh Atronach', RawMGEFCode(BWAX): u'Bound Axe', RawMGEFCode(BWBO): u'Bound Bow', RawMGEFCode(FOAT): u'Fortify ', RawMGEFCode(BWDA): u'Bound Dagger', RawMGEFCode(ZSKH): u'Summon Skeleton Hero', RawMGEFCode(STMA): u'Stunted Magicka', RawMGEFCode(Z011): u'Wabba Summon', RawMGEFCode(DGSP): u'Damage Magicka', RawMGEFCode(ZXIV): u'Summon Xivilai', RawMGEFCode(ZCLA): u'Summon Clannfear', RawMGEFCode(REHE): u'Restore Health', RawMGEFCode(RSFR): u'Resist Frost', RawMGEFCode(ZSKE): u'Summon Skeleton', RawMGEFCode(Z008): u'Summon Voracious Hunger', RawMGEFCode(DGFA): u'Damage Fatigue', RawMGEFCode(BABO): u'Bound Boots', RawMGEFCode(STRP): u'Soul Trap', RawMGEFCode(WABR): u'Water Breathing', RawMGEFCode(BAHE): u'Bound Helmet', RawMGEFCode(WKFR): u'Weakness to Frost', RawMGEFCode(ABHE): u'Absorb Health', RawMGEFCode(BW03): u'Bound Order Weapon 3', RawMGEFCode(ZFRA): u'Summon Frost Atronach', RawMGEFCode(CHRM): u'Charm', RawMGEFCode(FRSH): u'Frost Shield', RawMGEFCode(ZWRL): u'Summon Gloom Wraith', RawMGEFCode(WAWA): u'Water Walking', RawMGEFCode(NEYE): u'Night-Eye', RawMGEFCode(BW05): u'Bound Order Weapon 5', RawMGEFCode(ZDRE): u'Summon Dremora', RawMGEFCode(INVI): u'Invisibility', RawMGEFCode(BWSW): u'Bound Sword', RawMGEFCode(WKNW): u'Weakness to Normal Weapons', RawMGEFCode(BW06): u'Bound Order Weapon 6', RawMGEFCode(DEMO): u'Demoralize', RawMGEFCode(Z002): u'Summon Ancestor Guardian', RawMGEFCode(Z009): u'Summon Dark Seducer', RawMGEFCode(Z001): u"Summon Rufio's Ghost", RawMGEFCode(FIDG): u'Fire Damage', RawMGEFCode(RESP): u'Restore Magicka', RawMGEFCode(FOSP): u'Fortify Magicka', RawMGEFCode(ABAT): u'Absorb ', RawMGEFCode(FTHR): u'Feather', RawMGEFCode(CUPA): u'Cure Paralysis', RawMGEFCode(ZZOM): u'Summon Zombie', RawMGEFCode(WKPO): u'Weakness to Poison', RawMGEFCode(RSPO): u'Resist Poison', RawMGEFCode(ABSK): u'Absorb ', RawMGEFCode(MYHL): u'Summon Mythic Dawn Helm', RawMGEFCode(RSDI): u'Resist Disease', RawMGEFCode(LOCK): u'DO NOT USE - Can these two mods be used together? The bashed patch that was created seems to work despite the error.
  9. Try Wrye Bash instead of nexus mod manager
  10. I assume you have read and followed the installation instructions for OR? I see no reason to switch to ModOrganizer2 no, and you still need to use Wrye Bash if you want to create a bashed patch. The only advantage ModOrganizer2 has over Wrye Bash is that it makes it very easy to switch between two entirely different mod setups which is useful if you want to be able to quickly switch between 2 different saves with different mods. Your problem is not the mod manager. You have simply installed something wrong. Probably OR. Or you have made a simple mistake like forgetting to actually install the mods or forgetting to activate the ESPs or forgetting to run BOSS.
  11. It's possible. I use both of them myself and have disabled OR's WeatherMode although I don't know for sure if that is really necessary. I don't know why your water doesn't work, it's obvious that you have installed something wrong. When it comes to OR it's a very hard mod to install if you are unlucky. The third party software that you have to install in order to make it work (DirectX 9.0c and Visual C++ Runtime and all that stuff) doesn't always install itself correctly it seems. If I were you I would uninstall all other mods and only focus on OR until you are sure it really works. Not until then you can focus on the easy stuff.
  12. You might have to disable WeatherMode in OR if you're gonna use All Natural. You don't need to start the game from Wrye Bash, easier to start it by double clicking on obse_loader.exe. Make a shortcut to it from your desktop and remove all shortcuts to oblivion.exe, otherwise you're gonna click on them by mistake.
  13. I don't know if such settings exist but you can easily solve the problem by adjusting the player health instead since doubling the player health is almost the same thing as halving enemy damage and vice versa. By default the player character has twice as much health as NPCs I think (you can look up the exact numbers at uesp.net) so the player character is unfairly advantaged by default. If you reduce the player health with 50% (so that he has the same health as NPCs) then that is basically the same thing as doubling the damage of all enemies while your own damage is uneffected. If you want enemies to do less damage while the PC does the same, then you can just increase the player health instead. You can also use the setting in MOO which multiplies ALL damage in the game by x and combine that with adjustments to the difficulty slider and/or the player health in order to get a result you want.
  14. Which components from Really AEVWD have you installed CHASE6?
  15. MOO makes some tweaks to these sort of things. I don't know exactly what it does but the farther away a dungeon is from a city the harder it is. Low level creatures can always spawn even if you are high level and bandits are prevented from having the best armor when you are high level. But at the same time I've seen people complaining it's too hard so maybe nothing for you. But you can tweak its difficulty from Easy to Nightmare.
  16. AoG lets you tweak it a bit. I think you can disable the skill loss and replace it with a number of diseases and a real time waiting penalty.
  17. Oblivion Tree Overhaul changed things radically. The trees were good-looking but also intrusive. Bruma suddenly became a green place. I think my FPS dropped as well. Sticking with OUT for now.
  18. Do you think it's worth replacing some content of OUT with other textures? For example with "Improved Trees and Flora 2" or "Oblivion Tree Overhaul". I just compared the trees in OUT with "Improved Trees and Flora 2" and to me it felt like the result was pretty equal. Gonna try "Oblivion Tree Overhaul" now.
  19. Thanks for the suggestions. I tested both Qarl and Upscaled Oblivion Textures and I think OUT was much better. Perhaps partly because I'm used to the vanilla look, but yeah, it was an easy choice.
  20. Which one of them is recommended 2019? Do all of them work with Elsweyr Anequina and Pelletine?
  21. What is the difference between Valenwood Improved, TWMP Valenwood Improved by Haldar and Valenwood regrown?
  22. Copious Coin Purse does not buy stolen goods. Mannheim Maulhand only buy potions. If you have Better Cities installed there are two fences in the IC tunnel. You can also install Thievery in the Imperial City. It's a good quest mod which adds a fence to the Market District.
  23. Yeah, it was the fatigue thing. Every time I jumped the screen went black and white. I have disabled it now. There is a lot of good things in OR but also a lot of stuff which gives a bad first impression. I thought the black and white thing was either a bug or that I had installed it wrong.
  24. I've tried Oblivion Reloaded 6.5 lately and one thing I've noticed is that every now and then all colors on the screen disappears and the entire world becomes black and white and then after a while the colors come back again. Is this a bug or an intentional effect? Does it happen only to me? Maybe it's supposed to illustrate a cloud passing by the sun or something like that but I don't find it convincing. Is it possible to turn it off?
  25. With just one click the bashed patch will automatically fix most of your conflicts if you don't use it you are dumb.
