In response to post #61981992. #61982887, #61993237 are all replies on the same post.I see, that makes sense.CreeperLava wrote: This fallback for captchas seems like a very bad idea from à security standpoint. Considering how reliable Google's services (usually) are, this will be a rare occurance if nothing else.
It doesn't 'defeat the point' of having capcatchas at all; it is something I (rarely) encountered when I was still living in an apartment complex and sharing the same IP with others. Nexus has to balance security and convenience and I feel they've struck an acceptable balance between the two. Besides, in a worst case scenario you have a vandal who messes with a modder's settings or something that can be easily undone if reported quickly enough.Pickysaurus wrote: The main reason we use the backup captcha is for users in China, where Google is blocked so they can't use the regular Captcha. Of course there are also those who are super-sensitive about their privacy online and block Google (among other) services. So it's an effort to cater to all our users. -

I started playing Skyrim again recently, and decided to use Enai's mods for more interesting gameplay possibilities. I am not disappointed, I love all the different characters you can become by choosing a path or another in Ordinator, and the variety Imperious, Andromeda and Apocalypse add to the game.
Thank you so much for listening to your users, too :). I know first-hand how time consuming that is.

The reason why I contacted DeadMeat was because many of his mods were on smarteck's post, on the forums (not on the projects page). Those links also disappeared with the forum shutdown.

I'm looking for the author of the mod High-resolution Blue Suns Armour (http://social.bioware.com/project/4535/). It wasn't inventoried, so it probably was down even before BSN closed. Any information would be appreciated :).

I like the idea, Nexus giving back to modders is a good thing. It's going to create a whole slew of issues with permissions and the likes though, which I'm not looking forward to as a mod author. That's the problem when your mod uses assets from other users, I suppose, how do you determine who gets what percentage of the "profit" ? The easiest solution is to pull back from any monetary system, unfortunately.

In response to post #55255308.Is there really a need to be so agressive towards what is ultimately not that important ?schnubbel76 wrote: I hate the new design. Since the nexusmods still is the best site for mods to me, i will stuck with you, but when the old design is shut down and only the new site is available, well.... i will stuck with you, but i will hate you forever at the same time for making me use the new design and i will hate myself for using it and not leaving nexus and i will hate everything from then on.
I hate the new design so much and i hate you for creating it.
I hate you. -

Another thing to add : mod author boodrl answered my PM on Nexus, and authorizes us to reupload his mods on Nexus.

If you could update the spreadsheet with the following information :) : merylisk is reuploading all his/her BSN mods on Nexus.
