  1. That is awesome, thank you very much for saving this data. I'm pretty sure there were a bunch of Morrowind mods there, too. I wish the same thing had been done with planetelderscrolls :/ (mw.modhistory.com has a lot of them backed up, but probably not all).

Would it be doable to transfer them to the Nexus ? It is much easier to navigate nexus than modhistory, plus modhistory doesn't come up in google searches (not indexed, I believe).

  2. Fantastic (not that I see ads anyways since I'm a supporter, but still !) ! It is amazing to see how dedicated you and your team are to make the best out of this site. And you are definitely achieving it !

If you want to help Skywind, I think your time and skills is more valuable to them than money :). They do have a Patreon though iirc.

Out of curiosity, is it really efficient to offer a life-long ad-free service for only 2$ ? Or do ads really generate so little that it still remains profitable for you ?

Edit : Just bought the supporter thingy, so I suppose what I say above isn't really valid anymore^^.

The $2, or really $1.50 after the fees are taken from it, seems like a reasonable amount all around, and would be worth about 2,000 - 10,000 page views. Lots of users probably aren't going to view more than 2,000 pages on the site, but lots also do. So it's a middle-ground.

It also works on the premise of "if every user bought Supporter, then we'd have no need for ads at all".

Makes sense, thanks for the answer.

  6. So, if I understand your last post correctly, you rollbacked to vanilla, then installed DLC mods, then changed a vanilla PCC and built a tree on top of it ? That could be the cause of your problems. Texmod uses 'hashes', ie texture IDs to replace textures. If you change a PCC, the texture ID changes too. For example, if you replace a texture with me3explorer, you cannot replace it again with the same hash using Texmod. Shouldn't crash the game though.

What would cause a problem too is that you are building a tree on a non vanilla PCC. You could try to first build your tree with all DLC mods, then replace the PCC (or even better, make the changes to the PCC yourself, that would be ideal, eg with the .upk if I am not mistaken).

In all seriousness, thank you for the heads up, Dark0ne! Hope we can get to the bottom of this soon.

Strange, I didn't get this window when I modified mine. Did you reload the page and retried ? Alternatively, Ctrl+F5 clears the cache, maybe that will fix it.

I have been installing well over 5-6gb of mods in the last week, and I noticed something odd when I installed a mod via NMM. My UAC said something was being installed and I, being tired just clicked on yes. Unfortunately I had installed about 10-15 mods and have no idea which mod caused the issue.

When I checked to see "what" was installed, it said it was Synaptics Pointing Device Driver. I googled it and it is something to do with the laptop mouse pad "thingy". I am on a pc and don't have this device at all. So I tried to uninstall it via Control Panel and it stated that the system could not uninstall the program because it was not installed. I ran a virus scan with Avast, used TDSkiller, Malwarebytes, ESET online scanner and many others and nothing was found.

Since this program installed, I get delays when typing in web browsers and oddly enough I have even lost 10-15 fps when using mods that alter the fallout 4 exe such as post processing mods using Reshade. Prior to this issue, I had no issues at all downloading any files or with any fps lags, even with the same presets using this method.

I am concerned that maybe one of the reshade template/preset mods may have had a virus "dll" in it, possibly a keylogger. The dll file is synlSDLL.dll

If you need more info, feel free to contact me.

Try using Revo Uninstaller to uninstall this, or search for other programs of the same type to force the uninstallation. Optionally, also remove the driver in your driver manager.
  10. I recently saw the mod Familiar Faces and its amazing capabilities, and wondered if anyone thought of making a mod allowing the user to transfer his complete inventory from one save to the other. From the description of Familiar Faces I learned that it would be technically possible but not yet implemented in the mod. Any modder out there interested by this feature ?

As a side note, would it be possible to copy one's inventory from a save to another via the console and a batch file ?
