The whole site feels a bit weird these past few days. Like it's timing out or something. I've gotten a few of these timed out errors when trying to download a file or load pages. Is the site being DDoS attacked?

Thanks. Think this is a custom mod this user is using and not uploaded to FO4 Nexus. Can't find any mod for boonie hats, or at least military style. But I found a couple of mods that closely resembles this the best I could do. It came out pretty nicely.

Think ppl using more secured and complex passwords should be a no-brainer these days especially for modders who upload their work onto the site for others to download and install. Because if you place yourself into the shoes of a hacker or whoever wants to do these bad things, u would want to seek and target modders' accounts, slip in malicious files into the mod and let hundreds if not thousands of ppl to download and install it. True Nexus has security in place to scan these files before they go live but never say never. If federal government systems can be hacked, guess what they can do with other sites. But it's good to know Nexus has and is taking steps to make their site more secure and safer.

I would like to know the names of the mods that were affected. Just to make sure I do not have them installed. This is very worrying news.

make sure first BOSS detects Skyrim then open up BOSS GUI. under Run Options check if Sort Plugins is selected and also check mark Update Masterlist. now click on Run BOSS and it should reorder your list.

you won't find it here on Nexus ever unless the author comes back and repost his mod. alternatively, just do a search on Google and you'll find it. trust me, that's where i got it. and it is the latest version before the mod was taken down, 4.6.

I was wondering how to use an existing mod that changes the appearance of an NPC and make it available as a character preset option? I went to CK, selected the mod, edited the NPC, checked "Is CharGen Face Preset", saved the esp but I don't see the face in the preset selection. for instance, i downloaded this NPC face mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/download.php?id=56694 from A More Beautiful Skyrim Experience. it changes the appearance of Annekke. i'm trying to get this face as a preset choice for Nord female. is this even possible? Edit: Nevermind, I was poking around the CK for a little bit and found out how to do this.

This just recently started about a few days now. It only happens right after it loads a new area. The occurrence is random. The game freezes but I can still hear the sound. The music also plays normally as well. Just that I can't move, npcs don't move, everything is frozen. When I check the task manager, it shows Skyrim is Not Responding and eventually I have to close the TESV.exe process. i uploaded a short video where you can see this. the sound quality isn't the best but that's suppose to be the water flowing through Whiterun at the main entrance. Skyrim Freeze any idea what's the problem? i tried verifying the integrity of game cache on Steam but it didn't help. i am running a lot of the same mods for weeks with no issues with the game until now. here's the list of mods I am running atm. most of the time it is conflicting mods that causes CTDs. try using BOSS to load your order. see if that helps. it did for me in the past.

i can also confirm that editing your ini to try to disable grass shadow does not work. either roll back before 1.5 or Bethesda releases a patch fix for this. this sucks too because i use Lush Grass mod which makes the game a lot better looking but have to disable it now because it kills the fps. Stupid grass shadows.

I'm sure if there is already a mod for this, I haven't found or seen it but can someone create a mod where it enables the horse to backpedal? When you're mounted and press the "back" key, instead of walking backwards, the horse makes a u-turn.

upgrading to 64bit did it for me. now i have zero crashes. i have 30+ mods installed. before i was running on 32bit, constant crashes. purple textures, missing textures. couldn't even use the DLC because it would crash the game. now everything works fine. who knew.
