  1. Could it be because your PC is running a 64bit OS?
  2. You'll need one of the follower mods out there. There are LOTS of options here so find one you like. It's not the home itself you need to set, it's the ability to command followers. Amazing Follower Tweaks and My Home Is Your Home are just two examples.
  3. You can just go through Steam. NMM isn't needed to keep mods running. BUT, and this is a big one, if you're using mods that rely on SKSE, and all the best ones do ;), then you need to launch either with the SKSE launcher or set NMM to launch with the SKSE launcher. ModOrganizer can also be set to launch with SKSE. There should be a "skse_loader.exe" file in your Skryim directory (the same place you find skyrim.exe) and it's easiest to right click that and "send to desktop" to create a shortcut for it.
  4. I guess my OBSE is working since it's giving me both .ess and .obse saves in my save folder. I have it installed to C/x86 program/steam/steamapps/common/Oblivion and all is well. When I use the Oblivion launcher it starts both Steam and OBSE on it's own (since I followed the install directions I guess?).
  5. My Logitech Dual Action controller (and using the Logitech Profiler software) works fine for Morrowind. I've used it myself. I haven't used X-Padder, but I'm left to assume it's very, very similar to Profiler so it should be fine. I just set it up so it's as close to Skyrim's and Oblivion's setups as possible and it played fine (besides the crappy combat system anyway! LOL).
  6. I have the Steam version of TES4 GOTY Deluxe installed into X86 Program Files, have OBSE installed and a couple dozen mods as well. I've added retextures, body types, character overhauls, magic overhauls, etc.....and I've just completed the mages' guild quests and some of the main quest all without a single hitch of any sort. It's very stable and has had no weird bugs/glitches and not a single freeze or crash (all while the XBox version would've driven me nuts by now LOL).
  7. I have my Logitech controller working with the same button layout I had when I played Oblivion on my 360. With one difference....I use the right stick to move a cursor in menus. I even have the analog walk/run on the left stick functioning. The controller came with Logitech Profiler software, similar to X-Padder, and it lets you make axis zone assignments (and even allowed me to make a small, dead space at the center as well). So the only things I mapped with profiler were the sticks, the triggers and the hotkeys on the D-pad and the rest I set with the in-game options menu. Maybe I can try to also map arrow keys for menu use. I haven't thought to try that.
