  1. There is already an existing mod for this, but it doesn't work... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50744/? I have also try console removing all necromancy spells from Serana but it always tells me that she doesn't have that spell, or if it does work she automatically reacquires it somehow.
  2. Lies, my sword doesn't have leather, it has wood on it! Also thats why I wear gloves! DUH. But yeah...
  3. Is there a mod that changes all the recipes to only need the main ingredient or one ingredient? Like lets say if I wanted to make a steel sword, all I would need is just steel ingots with no additional leather, or iron?
  4. Ah yes there we go. Thank you very much. Yup that was the problem.
  5. I am using Skytweak, but I haven't actually tweaked any values that affect tempering, or at least not that I am aware of. I haven't touched the tempering tweak values at all in the services section in the mod menu.
  6. Ignore this post and look at the one I posted below.
  7. It fixed some stuff... but now I am noticing all the gauntlets and a lot of boots are still stuck at flawless, while a lot of other things are stuck at epic... this is even after with perks overhaul and waf together. Edit: Nevermind the mods work as they should... So yeah I am a newbie at the whole crafting and smithing part of the game, in my previous games I just ran around and did quests, and killed stuff. What I want is to be able to temper everything to legendary level without potions or fortified magic clothing that improves smithing. I hope that clears up the confusion.
  8. Thank you very much, I don't know what was going on with me this morning when I was reading over the descriptions. Yeah you're correct the mod you provided was what I was looking for.
  9. IsharaMeridin showed me something I already knew, what I was looking for was where to edit the parameters in the creation kit. For instance Legendary needing to be level 168? just crank it down to 100... Also if you bothered to read the only other option from the link you posted, it still changes a lot of more stuff than just simply making things temperable to legendary tier. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34093/? But thank you for all your post, I am still looking for where to simply maybe just lower the level required in Creation Kit. But I guess I can compromise and just use the weapon fix mod till I fully understand how to use the CK so I can make a mod that only changes things very minimally. The reason why I am hesitant about using mods that change perks, etc... is because like I said... I am playing a heavily cheated play through for fun where I use console commands, and bat files to do stuff. So if perks and other stuff get changed... it changes the console id number and messes up some of the things I have been using or bat files that I have made.
  10. It doesn't do what I want because I am not looking for a complete overhaul that changes the skill trees/perks around, I only want the few items that can't be tempered to legendary temperable. And the question I asked was "So can anyone point me to where tempering tier restrictions/parameters are?"
  11. Thats what I hope someone can help me with. But the weird thing is I opened up the Skyrim.esm and it says imperial gear is part of the steel material tree already. But when I opened USKP file, the USKP file has it listed only as imperial. So maybe USKP team felt hat imperial gear shouldn't be in steel category? In the little fix I made for myself. I added "WeapMaterialImperial" to the imperial sword which also has the "WeapMaterialSteel" tag. So I am unsure whether the fix was adding the steel material tag or the imperial tag...
  12. I actually found how to fix it after 3 days of tinkering and 4 hours more today. It was simply just add WeapMaterialImperial value to the keywords. Though I wonder is there any efficient way to fix this issue for multiple items all at once. Like at this point it looks like I'll have to manually add missing key tags to like 30-40 things that I have to hunt down. Such as daggers, iron stuff, and imperial stuff.
  13. So I am not sure if one of the mods I have installed is causing this problem or not, or if it is present in the vanilla game. The problem I have is I like wearing Imperial Armor and using Imperial Weapons even though they are pretty weak. So in attempt to give them a little *umph* to keep them viable to a certain extent I tried to temper my Imperial Sword. But whenever I tempered it, it would max out a Flawless and there is no way else for me to upgrade it. Note that I am playing a heavily cheated play through where I just bat consoled command my levels to 100 for every skill, and have all the perks. So when I make Imperial Sword (Flawless), it shows back up in the grindstone menu, but when I try to craft it, it tells me I am not high enough level to do so. So I opened up my creation kit to see the recipes and item for an Imperial Sword, and compared them with like 90% of the other recipes and couldn't find anything that set the cap on tempering tiers. So other things I saw plagued by this problem is a lot of iron weapons, majority of different type of daggers, etc... So can anyone point me to where tempering tier restrictions/parameters are?
