  1. Would love a mod where once you scan things on a planet like structures, natural, caves etc.. you can see them as POI on the planet from space.
  2. I could be totally wrong but doesn't direct storage happen at the hardware level? "For DirectStorage to work, your PC needs to have an NVMe SSD and a DirectX 12 compatible graphics card. DirectStorage is enabled automatically if your PC supports it, so you don't need to turn it on." In my motherboards bios I do have a setting to enable direct storage as long as i have the other equipment that supports it. Sadly the 5700XT does not appear to support direct storage even though it is a direct X 12 card. Also the NVME needs to be at least 1tb from what I just read for direct storage to work.
  3. My idea is a mod that usually but not always has a spacers or pirates ship near by at outposts or any planet they are occupying a structure at.
  4. I am not premium and I have been using the site since way before vortex and premium was a thing. It was so so much better before premium. Just started playing fallout 4 again and trying to re-download AWKW's is a nightmare! Two and a half hours to D/L 300 megs. What a joke this site has become. At some point you should just toss in the towel and dump the site altogether since it is obviously been in steady decline since the garbage premium model. NMM was by far a superior manager as Vortex itself causes 90% of the problem with mods. Honestly before premium this site had such a huge following it was all over social media as the place to go for all gaming mods. Now it is fading into obscurity because of mismanagement and a screw you attitude.
  5. i have found the perfect solution, just stick with v1.4 :dry: . I was having mod issues but it was pretty easy to remedy after updating to 1.5. I simply disabled all mods then re-enabled them one at a time. Now all the same mods I had before are working just fine with 1.5. Although I only have about 94 mods that I am using.
  6. Hi all, I am having some problems getting the fo4 to run with f4se. I have fo4 v1.5.157.0, I downloaded f4se 0.01.13 copied f4se_1_5_157.dll, f4se_steam_loader.dll and f4se_loader.exe into my fallout4 folder per the f4se readme instructions. When I double click f4se_loader.exe to test and see if it will run , the f4se CMD screen pops up for about 20 seconds then disappears. The game itself does not launch. I can launch and run the game normally through NMM or just double clicking fallout4launcher.exe I get the follow 2 entry message in windows application log.   7. Hi, I am wondering is there is a way to prevent NMM from automatically colapsing the catagories on the top bar just under the mods tab. Whenever I click a mod NMM automatically colapses the mods to a point where I can not see the mods text any longer. Also when I try and drag the catagory to make it bigger it just resets and colapses again.

Years ago in Fo3 some brilliant person made a mod that reveamped the perk system. So instead of gaining perk points as you leveled, your perks leveled up as you used the variouse skills related to the perks. So the more you picked locks the higher youre skill got at picking locks, the more you crouched ans sneeked around the quieter and less detectible you became etc.. I only wish I rememerd the name of the mod or the modder that made it so I could give kudo's here. I would love a mod like this for Fo4. For me in fo3 this made the game much more immersive.   9. Agree need a mod that allows up to 10 rings, 1 per finger. There is one mod out there that allows unlimited rings but it is kind of wonkie when it comes to crafted rings.
  10. Cool thank you, which .ini file and what should it be set to if i find it? Thanks Edit: I found my skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini files. There is no decal.ini in the skyrim.ini file. there are several line in the skyrimprefs.ini file with the word decal in it. Can someone please point out which one is for the blood bleedout on the ground and what value it should be set to please? thanks
  11. So I made it down to the part where you pick up the claw, I know the combo...however I can not rotate any of the 3 rings to enter the combo in. I have tried shutting the game down and reloading it ...but still the rings will not rotate. I can place the claw and get hit by the dart trap. Anyone else have this issue?
  12. Anyone have any ideas how I can get the blood bleed out back? Currently when ever i kill a mob I see the blood spray from the weapon strikes as well as the blood on my weapons and armor. However I no longer see the blood pool under the mobs after they are killed. I am starting to think maybe it has something to do with the HD_2k Texture Mod. Can anyone confirm or debunk this? Thanks
  13. Well I went ahead and removed the blood folder from the texture folder to revert back to the vanilla textures for the blood from the texture.bsa file and still no blood on the ground. I have no idea how to get it working again. I am starting to think it might have something to do with the hd_2k texture mob and not the enhanced blood mod.
  14. I was tinker with the console command fov= and it just does not do the trick. I was hoping that someone out there could make a mod that allows different height perspective of player characters. As a orc warrior when I am in 3rd person I am quite tall and usually my head is almost at the top of the doorways. However in first person I feel as if I am always looking up at who ever I talk to in the game. and in most cases the view angle even auto shifts up and the NPC's are always looking down at me. Would be nice to feel as tall as my race is.

I had no idea there was fog floating around the mountain tops in Skyrim. :psyduck: I really hope it helps you out too. Let me know. :ohdear: This fixed everything!! Thanks so much!!   17. Awesome! found another post that mentioned to install Enb_patch and it completely solved everything! I thought I was only missing the water vapors...wow was I wrong! This game looks amazing now!
  18. I have this exact same issue and have tried several water mods to correct it but nothing is working so far. I am running four sapphire 3870x2 cards. I have tried with and without crossfire enabled. I have fiddled with all the settings in catalyst over the last couple days and still nada.
  19. I tried the -dx9 and it was a no go :(. I sure would lover to get that water vapor / mist going. would help with the immersion of the game quit a bit since there seems to be water and water falls everywhere. My system did chug a bit here an there on crysis 2 at full max settings and that was usually only during huge panoramic scenes with lots or NPC and explosions going on. Good thing I use headphones or the sound of the fans would drive me crazy. As it is, this system heats a 10' x 15' room to 87 degrees in about 20 minutes. That's with the outside temp being 52 degrees :).
  20. Anyone know if there is a way to shift the character point of veiw higher in first person? The stock view just does not feel right as a orc and almost feels like a dwarves perspective.. always looking up at everything.

  23. I have not ever run into any issues so far with quad fire. Also so far with this many gpu's even as old as they are the system seems only limited by the version of DirectX I can run. So far I can run anything with ultra settings. I do however have a beefy psu. 1100w. I also have to run riva tuner to crank up the fans cause this system puts out a ton o heat :). I also went ahead and disabled the catalyst Ai which takes all the cards outta crossfire so that only 1 gpu is pushing the graphics and I still get no mist/vapors from the falls. I wonder if it is because the game is using DX 9 instead of 10 or 11 ? Is there a way to see what version of DirectX the game is running in?
  24. I was wondering what setting cause the water vapors to appear or disappear from the game? I have seen in some screen shots that the bottom of water falls has vapor/mists where the fall meets the actual streams. However i do not see this effect at all. I have the water improvement mob as well as the 2k HD textures running but no diff with or without. I have AA off and Anthro up to 16x. Max everything else. could it simply be that because my cards are dx10.1 and do not support dx11? 4x 3870x2 cards. Any ideas would be great. Thanks
