  1. Mine just had a few lines in there. When I get home I can send it if it's helpful (the ini stuff). On the topic of the mydocuments / data folder. For me it's not even about "onedrive". I had bakas tool setup so I didn't have to use that folder at all and everything was setup and fine in the starfield data folder. Baka specifically stops the game from running when it detects a data folder in the mydocuments/mygames folder. So I disabled that hoping it would solve it. Yes, that message went away, but then SFSE said it couldn't find dll's and such. So I just couldn't get it to run anymore. I could launch starfield alone but that would of course mean no sfse mods and potentially render my save file unusable as well. My suggestion is give the users the option. 1. Mygames/Starfield/Data uses your intended design to function 2. Starfield/Data would be an option where we just define the location manually it makes NO other changes other than where to deploy files to.
  2. Hello. This new version has destroyed what I had working fine. I was using baka's no more my documents (Baka Disable My Games Folder at Starfield Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)) method and just deploying files directly to my data folder. Now SFSE and mods associated with it don't work even if I disable the baka mod. Can we please just have the option to use to starfield data folder or the my documents folder? I prefer to have things on my other drive as it is much larger in comparison to my the my documents (OS drive). As it stands I am no longer able to even launch the game. This version has completely broken my mod setup. =(
  3. Im on a 275 with NV running maxed and several mods (a few graphics, HQ stuff). Not to many problems for me. Glad the crashing issue was discovered. Hopefully some one can chime in on here with an answer for you on FOMM now.
  4. I am not sure. I googled sp1 causing games not to start and I saw a couple threads on it. Might want to look at them.
  5. Man that sucks. I don't know what to tell ya at this point. The thing that concerns me more is that SP1 is causing your games to not work.
  6. Creepy. SP1 never gave me trouble. Im on Win7 Pro. Other then that I am stuck. I wish I had other ideas for you. I am the same way. I put most mods into a fomod if they have more then just a ESP / ESM file. So the crash dump wasnt even made in your users folder either? Maybe UAC is preventing it?
  7. Did you install your .NET Frameworks and / or updates? Visual Runtimes, so on?
  8. Hmmmm. Did the OS change? I cant help but wonder if its freaking out because you are installing programs to another drive. That probably isnt it. Did you check the FOMM discussion thread? I recall seeing some people with issues in there and fixing it by deleting a specific file. I can't remember which or where though. =\
  9. Unfortunately, as long as you are using the internet, you will be forced to see another persons opinion. So you can either ignore it, or fuel the fire.
  10. Are you able to get into FOMM at all, or does it close out entirely after that crash?
  11. Same thing. Point is, it can "easily" be moved. Since fonger didn't link it I will Steams suggested method of changing install directory.
  12. I can't even seem to get FOMM for NV to create a proper merged patch now anyways. It seems to just create a empty patch. Their are conflicts in some stuff, but mostly overrides or additions (nothing I am overly concerned with, as they dont apear to break, nor change things to what I do not want). However, I am curious if anyone else is having this problem trying to create a merged patch in FOMM for NV?
  13. If you installed steam to its default then its probably under program files, which is then nestled into steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas You could always uninstall steam, then set it to your own desired path (such as c:\steam). Unfortunately and quite frustratingly (one of the few things I hate about Steam) is they dont let you install games to your own chosen directories. Only steam its self can be installed where you choose.
  14. Interesting. Yeah I just pinned the NVSE 4g loader to my taskbar lol.
  15. Just curious why that is and what happens if you turn it off.
  16. Yea, I used EVE in FO3 and loved it. And the creator is hillarious. I particularly had not grabbed it for NV lately cause I noticed it mods some art I dont want changed. This time though I said to hell with it to try it. I guess that was a mistake lol.
  17. Is this the manual you tried? http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38413 Its the best I have seen yet. Anyways, I was going over your mod list cause a few caught my eye that I wanted to try. I already knew EVE was around but I decided why not give it a go again. I just tried it over the past hour or so. It was causing me constant crashes. Even with no real conflicts in it from FNVEdit. It was sorted by BOSS which had a conflict (with the no degrade mod) so I moved it. Still crashed. I pulled out EVE. Crashes gone. So you might want to try pulling eve out for now. I have also heard a lot of mods are causing crashes after the 1.4 update because of the changes made and that a lot of those mods need to be updated with the new geck tool. =\
  18. Im a retard for not seeing you mention BOSS in your original post lol. Did you try out FNVEdit to look for conflicts?
  19. I assume you are using the Unified HUD project? Also, are you using the special Project Nevada files for the DarnUI?
  20. Make sure they are turned on in the DarnUI settings xml file (menus/prefabs i believe)
