  1. I recently downloaded a werewolf mod and loaded the ESP file into the Creation Kit for Skyrim SE. I adjusted the height on the WerewolfBeastRace entry and saved. Problem is the SSE game crashes whenever my characters transform into a werewolf. The mod itself works fine, but when I adjust the height in the CK my game starts crashing on transform. Anyone have any insight into this issue? Are there more steps than to simply saving changes on an ESP file in the CK or am I missing something?
  2. I've been reading up some more on Blender and Nifksope tutorials. The learning curve is a bit of a nuisance, but I've managed now to get the mesh I edited at least into game with textures showing. Bone vertices rigging is another story though. The animation deformations for the werewolf mesh I worked on aren't the prettiest.
  3. Hi all, After following %5BHelp%5D Tutorials for modding character meshes? : skyrimmods'>this fairly detailed tutorial I have successfully modified a body mod, with the exception of textures not showing up in game. I'm using the vanilla textures on the mesh. Would anyone know why they wouldn't be showing up? Maybe I missed some extra texturing steps not in the tutorial? In Blender 2.49b, I used the default Fallout 3 export settings with the exception of some different options in the material options to the right (setting to "Skin" instead of "Wood"). I have successfully rigged and exported the mesh itself by the looks of it, but for some reason the textures are not showing. I've already tried archive invalidating the old textures in the Skyrim.ini file, but that didn't do the trick. Also when I try to "Update All Tangent Spaces" in Nifksope I get an ""need vertices, normals, texture coordinates and faces to calculate tangents and bitangents" message. The mesh shows with the bone rigging in Nifksope, but maybe I need to add some normals/ more textures to the mesh? If so, could someone tell me how or direct me to a tutorial detailing how to? Or anyone have any other insight into this? Using Niskope 2.49b with all the correct version Nif tools and Nifksope 1.1.3
  4. With whichever mod I look at on the www.tesnexus.com site, if I click on the "file" header to pick a file to download I get this error message with every single mod. "Fatal error: Call to undefined function mres() in /home/tes/public_html/includes/sdk/index.php on line 85" Is there something I need to adjust on my web browser? (I use IE7) Edit: Nevermind, seems to have been a momentary fluke. I logged out and then logged back in. Seems to be fixed, now. *shrug*
  5. I believe that is added by the Spell Tomes DLC. That DLC has random conjurors show up once in a while to fight you, carrying a spell tome. If you're in an area like the plains of Oblivion where the conjuror can't readily get at, the spell tome seems to be automatically added to your spell book through the glitch you mentioned. 85. Achieving 100% resist normal weapons will also make you immune to dungeon traps/ dungeon traps don't hurt. 86. You can stack spells like fortify acrobatics, fortify magicka, weakness to magic. Just make sure they each have a different name (except weakness to magic). 87. If an NPC has zero or very low responsibility and you speechcraft/ persuade their disposition toward you down to zero, they might start a fight with you (especially if they're an "evil" type NPC).
  6. Try yielding (hold block and press your "activate" key/ button while facing her). If you get the message that she rejects your yield then throw a powerful charm spell on her, then yield, and then bring up her disposition toward you through the speechcraft/ persuasion mini-game. I'm thinking you probably let a few too many of your hits stray and hit her by mistake. When an NPC says,"I'm on your side," or "That's twice you've hit me," or "Hit me once more I'll kill you," those are obvious signs that you just hit the speaking NPC by mistake. Hit them too many times and they will fight back. If they have little to no responsibility, then they will most likely reject your yields. Another posibility is that your companion's personality is very high, possibly making them on good terms with normally hostile, generic NPCs like bandits and considering them sort of as friends. Well, if you're attacking her "friends" she might step in to defend them. One way to fix that is using the factions system with Oblivion through the Construction Set and making her naturally dislike bandits for example. To learn how to do that I suggest reading tutorials. Check out the custom companion tutorial/ doc file that comes with CM Partners Base mod.
  7. I don't think Dark0ne had a choice. Invision Power Board required Bethesda to upgrade their forums software and I imagine likewise with all Invision's clients, including The Nexus forums. Frankly, I think Dark0ne has done a fantastic transition while upgrading the forum software at Invision's requirement.
  8. Forum update and overnight no doubt? I think you've done quite a good job. In fact, could you jump over to the www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums and give those admins a few pointers on how to make scrolling through the forums a lot smoother? No lag here. :)
  9. This poll has served it's purpose. Any admins/ mods reading this, I ask that this thread get locked/ closed.
  10. Unfortunately, the plans are still adrift and may never get anywhere, since I seem to have a hard time finding detailed conversion tutorials. Plus it looks like this poll is fairly inconclusive.
  11. I'm just conducting a poll asking people, who actually use my mod AGHGEC, which of the AGHGEC variants do people use the most, A,B,C,or D?
