I've had several dogs that went to go pee on the great fire hydrant in the sky. It sucks but at the same time, you can take comfort in the fact that you know that you gave them the best life that they could have had. Not too long ago I lost my first cat and that was brutal. That was the first time I decided to stay in the room while the vet put him to sleep. I've grown up with dogs so that also means I've grown up with losing them too. I learned early on to sort of emotionally isolate myself when I can sense that the time is coming to an end. I don't treat them any differently, but I do mentally build a wall so when that wave of grief hits, it isn't as bad. Tried to do that with the cat... still hurt just as bad.

Probably been answered already, but I know that some legendary weapons can be found.. for example.. The treasure of Jamaica Plains has that legendary baseball bat that you can take.

Been messing around with Sanguinaire (Revised Edition R2 - The Ultimate Fallout 4 Vampire Experience) at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) and I wanted to check out some vampire looking armor to wear but I figured with this being fallout and not Skyrim, the variety of armor that would fit my taste would be miniscule. Wondering if anyone would be interested in throwing together some Underworld looking armor. So far, I've been running around with TERA Kyna Armor (CBBE - CBBE Physics - BodySlide) at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) which looks cool, but it would be nice to have something darker and better fit for a vampire running around with a sword. Lately I've been noticing that I am unable to save in certain scenarios.. Like if I reload a game, or after I die, sometimes it will be fine, sometimes my ability to quicksave or manually save the game is broken. I've disabled the feature to autosave after rest, fast travel, and after being in the pipboy menu for x amount of time. Usually when this happens, I have to quit to the desktop and launch the game again.. quitting to the main menu doesn't fix it. So I was wondering if it's a thing for mods to affect the ability to save, and if it is, how would I go about finding the issue? Edit: Before, it used to only occur after loading or dying and now it seems to occur much more frequently. If i get into a firefight, i can't save. if I loot a body, i can't save. if I feed on a corpse, I can't save. I launched the game before posting this edit.. took ten steps and swatted 4 bloatflies.. lost my ability to save. I have no idea what the cause is and it's really frustrating.

I mean.... LL probably has that covered.. ..or so I've heard.. o.o

Is there a way to get the textures to show up when using BodySlide through MO2? A grey blob is all I see for previews.

Last time I played through Fallout 4, stuff like manufacturing wasn't a thing and I'm toying around with getting an ammo factory up and running. Using New Calibers and Weaponsmith Extended and all that stuff, but when I go into the terminal, I can only select between 10mm, .308, .38, and 5mm rounds to be made with the ammunition plant. Anyone know if it's even possible to get it to recognize all the new ammo types from New Calibers?

I tried out some of the different combinations from Vtaw Wardrobe 5 - CBBE - BodySlide at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) along with the arm and I've noticed the prosthetic gets unequipped if I use any boots from that mod which isn't too big of a deal for me because I mostly planned on being in first person view for most of the game and third person dialog doesn't show the feet anyway. There is some clipping issues but that's specified in the description that it would need to be cleaned up with OutfitStudio to properly fit whatever bodyslide preset I'm using. I use MO2 and I can't figure out how to get textures to load in automatically with either bodyslide or outfitStudio. In my previews, all I see is some grey blobs in the shape of bodies/clothing/armor.

I haven't seen that many mods in the way of adding the appearance of prosthetic arms. There are only two that I have found that got my attention based on the style of the prosthetic used.. one being Commonwealth Prosthetics - Synthetic Arm at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) and the other one being Commonwealth Prosthetics - Nude body at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) which takes one of the outfits provided by the first mod and strips away the outfit, leaving just the prosthetic arm on a naked body. I obviously have no modding experience and I would imagine that the reason there are so few would lead me to believe it's not all that simple. I wonder if someone would be able to take the prosthetic arm on the naked body and merge it with various armor mods such as Sarah Rage Armor - CBBE - Bodyslide at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) or Tactical Combat Swimwear (TCS) - CBBE at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) to use a couple of examples in which I think would fit well with a prosthetic arm.

it's been years since I messed with it so I could be completely wrong, but doesn't Vortex make a folder that houses all of the mods that get downloaded through vortex?

I realize it's been a few years, but have you looked recently? There are a couple of Predator themed mods now.

That one seems to work as far as using it with the Christine presets. Dunno how I forgot to try that one as I had downloaded it back in 2018 the last time I was messing around with Fallout 4.

So far I have yet to find a face texture pack that doesn't result in a brown face so I've just been using hair/makeup/tattoo required mods and using vanilla faces until I figure out why face textures won't work.

Anyone know which mod gives the texture for the laser katana? because I tried Laser Katana at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) and that was apparently not it. Edit: There is also a Nambu Type 14 gun that is invisible. I was able to see some of the Type 14s I have come across but there are some that are still invisible.
