Okay, so here's what I've done so far. I've gone into CK, found the entry for Eduj, and changed the model to the one I wanted to use. The problem is I can't find the first person NIF file in the list I have to choose from, nor can I find a DDS file for the Inventory Image. The mod I got the model I'm replacing the vanilla model with doesn't seem to have any sort of DDS files. I'm pretty sure the person made the models by taking parts from other meshes and putting them together. So how do I add the proper first person view, and how do I get a DDS for this NIF file?

Well I found a video tutorial, so I figured out what I need to do to replace meshes, but now the problem is I can't find meshes of some of the weapons I want to replace. I'm uncertain how to replace the unique weapons that share models with other swords. For example, the sword Eduj. It shares a mesh with the Ancient Nord Sword or the Nord Hero Sword, depending on the level the sword is found at. I want to replace the mesh for that sword so it looks unique, but I don't want to change the mesh for the Ancient Nord Swords or the Nord Hero Swords. So how do I replace the mesh for just Eduj?

I'm trying to replace certain weapons in game with weapons I've found from mods, in an attempt to make every unique weapon in the game ACTUALLY look unique. However I can't figure out how to do that. I found something that's supposed to explain it, but it doesn't really make sense to me. Would anyone be willing to help me figure this out?

I'm just about at my wits end here. I've searched high and low for a replacer for Chillrend, but I've not found a single thing. The only mod I've found that even gives the sword a different look (the mod by crazylion) still appears to use the same original mesh. I'm trying to find something that give a completely new sword, but so far I've not found a thing. I have come across a couple other swords made of ice, but nothing that looks terribly lore friendly, or that isn't just a retexture of a sword already in the game. If anyone knows of a replacer for Chillrend, then PLEASE let me know!

Any word on progress for this mod? I notice it's been awhile since the Author updated.

Okay, this is something I've noticed that kinda annoys me, and I'm hoping someone might be able to make a mod that changes it. So, pretty much every crafting material has two or three variations in their patterns and color based upon what part of the outfit they are used on and what other materials they are used with. Most of the time it's pretty cool, but for dragon bone it's annoying. You have two shades of gold with dragon bone. One is a bit darker and the other is a bit lighter and more yellow. To me, the darker one looks FAR better. However, the only time the lighter version is used is if you pair dragon bone with brocade silk. Since my standard color scheme is white main color with blue accents and gold metal, dragon bone and brocade silk are naturally what I use, and sadly the change in the color of the dragon bone makes it look flat and faded in cutscenes. Is there any way a mod could be made to change it so only the darker shade of dragon bone is used?

Fire and lightning would work though. And we're talking about magic here, so I don't think the rules of physics really apply. I think it's a great idea.

Hmmmm, I'd like it if it could look a little bit more gold, but I still think that looks amazing! Do the glass parts shimmer like they do in the vanilla?

I was wondering if anyone could recolor the glass arrows to match the armor in the picture below, which is from the aMidianBorn Ebony armor mod. I would actually PAY to have this sort of mod made x.x I've seen so many people calling for it, I'm shocked no one has done it. I thought I saw one on the steam workshop before, but now I can't find it.And seriously, I can't TELL you how many times I've wanted to jump off a ledge with swords swinging, and how much I wish this could be a thing.
