  1. In response to post #24599664. #24599799, #24599829, #24599839 are all replies on the same post. No bleeding joke on that. A statement regarding what Chesko revealed is required to begin with, because actual money has likely flowed here over Chesko's (and Fores' ) work with no indication of such.

Downloaded 64.0 MB in 2664 seconds. Calculated speed: 24.6 KB/s. Maximum instant speed reached: 86.5 KB/s -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.speedtest.net/result/4107580001.png As you can see, I'm on a 3Mbps connection and getting FAR below that. Before when you could pick servers to download from, I always chose anything based in the USA as the route there to where I am is very efficient and I almost download close to, or at, my max rated. Now with this new CDN, I'm being routed to Australia (and Telstro, of all shitty ISP's in Aus) for this. Might as well send me a disk with the mods in the mail at this rate :/ May want to force a USA CDN connection for some SEA-based users, or have one in Singapore at least. EDIT: Tried during the dead of night on off-peak (2AM), got close to or at my max rated, with varying dips. I'm surmising that its a peak usage thing, but considering the speed sped up at 2AM on the dot, I'm having doubts as to that hypothesis. Either way, its not feasable to stay up at such an ungodly hour just to download anything off the Nexus.
  3. 2. the random perk list for Training Roulette.
  4. In DefaultGameCore.ini, I found the entries under XComGame.XComPerkManager that contain SoldierPerkTrees= entries that contain the lists of soldier perks at each rank. Herein lies the question: Is this as simple as editing these entries to change the soldier perks at each rank or does it involve having to edit art and string assets to follow suit? Side question: Does this also affect the other perks mentioned in this section?
  5. After poking around the default-titled ini files in the config directory, a stray click led me to find the XCom ini's under the Mydocs/mygames/XComEW directory that seems to work for edits. Thing is, has anyone gone down this path for ini modding the game in general instead of editing the EXE to force-load the loose default files?
  6. There has to be an easier way to edit DefaultGameCore variables. Lengthy strings without line breaks and typography ergonomics is making my eyestrain grow more eyestrain. Oh I can certainly do it alright. I just wish I could do it without my eyes rebelling and my headache worsening. EDIT: Is there a wiki with all the variables listed so that I dont have to risk potentially breaking something?
  7. No one remembers that magicka mod that allows for sustained spells? I know about many magicka mods that allow for sustained summons, the one I'm looking for I remember has sustained spells as well. I cant remember the name of it...
  8. I dont think thats the one. From what I read, it only has sustainable summons. The one I remember allows you to create your own sustainable spells.
  9. I'm pretty sure this certain mod existed once, and was on TESNexus in some form, but I cant remember the name of it, and I'm not sure its updated to work with today's super-big mods like FCOM (like what I use now). Basically it was a magic overhaul mod that made magic, well, suck less, compared to vanilla :P. The important part in it was that it had sustained spells that kept its effect on till you decasted it, at a continuing cost to your magicka. If this does not exist anymore or wont work with FCOM due to it being so old, I might as well accept any recommendation of a de-suck-ifier for magicka.
  10. Whats the essentials in prettying up characters? Any cosmetic compilations? body textures? body meshes? body/face matching? etc?
