Steam and Bethesda remove paid modding from Skyrim Workshop
RobBruce replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
I hope they bring the Pay what you Want back properly. As a default for everyone that enters a way for Valve to give them the money. They can keep the split the same if that's the standard. "It feels like they deserve more" is not enough argument for me to try and make a point on the specific numbers -
So, once again I failed my Thieves Guild playthrough.

The thing for me is, by the time you get to Riften, thieving just seems so insignificant compared to the stuf you could be doing. Offcourse that's not what the actual questline is about, but it's still what you're going to be doing ALOT off if you actually want to see the guild grow. I'm the Dovahkin. Dragons die when they hear my Voice! Send someone else to fetch your chandeliers. And offcourse the whole pledging your soul part. Sure I'll be your champion. I'll fix your temple, or fetch your star, or whatever it is because it's a mutual benificial deal. You get a nice clean temple, I get a cool sword. A few years of extra luck is not worth guarding your temple for all eternity. I don't need your luck. If I did, Alduin would have been a minute late and my had would have been chopped off -
The level of the dragons you encounter is tied to your own level, and nothing else. As you get stronger, so will the dragons you meet. I don't know where you got the idea that the main quest is non stop, it's not. Having Alduin start ressurecting dragons has very little impact. You will very rarely see him hovering over a dragon mound in the distance. If you investigate, a dragon will burst out and attack you, while he flies away. If you keep your distance, nothing. Your game won't end if you ignore him, nothing will change. As for the Dark Brotherhood: The things you're worried about also don't happen If you're worried about people dieing in dragon attacks, get this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23906/?

I don't think smithing skill even matters for the base stats when making something. It's only relevent for improving. Skill with the item itself IS though. So high archery skill means you see a higher number, as that number is directly recalculated based on your boosts

LE Steady Hand-Like Slow for spellcasting
RobBruce replied to itsthecrazydude's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Well you could make an item that's enchanted to do this, and than use a regular hotkey to equip/unequip the item to trigger the effect -
WE know that. The people in Tamriel don't (atleast the mass public doesn't) Also, the blades came much later than the dragon war. Blades hunted individual dragons left over after the war. They didn't fight the war itself. Also, unles I'm mistaken the first Dragonborn (excluding Miraak) came in the first Era

That looks pritty damn awesome -
do you have to join the thieves guild?
RobBruce replied to ArabWarFighter's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
No you can't destroy the thieves guild -
No, you need 1 soul per word. But the Greybeards give you knowledge of the word, so that you can use it without having to spend a soul on unlocking it. I'm a little confused where you get the thought that you need 2 soulds for a word. You kill your first dragon, you get a soul, and that soul unlocks Fus. Than you go to the Greybeards, and they teach you Ro, and than they give you the knowledge that unlocks Ro for use. With dragon souls, you absorb the soul, and the knowledge contained in that soul, which you use to unlock a word

LE Have to do College of Winterhold AGAIN...

Wouldn't it be pritty easy to just skip it with the console? -
Sounds familiar to Predator Vision Maybe you can take hints from there?

Currently, the Dawnguard quest works a little like the Dark Brotherhood quest line. If you want to join Harkons side and become a vampire lord, you first have to join the vampire hunters. (like if you want to destroy the Brotherhood, you first have to kill someone) This puts my vampire character in a bit of a problem. RP wise, he has plenty of reason not to join the Dawnguard. But if I never join the Dawnguard, I can't join the Vampire Lords. So my request is a way for vampires to start the Awekening quest without having to get it from the Dawguard. Something about hearing of a great power being stored in Dimhollow Crypt I guess?

It's been awhile since I did a thief, but don't you put that Key into it's stand at the shrine of Nocternal?

This sounds epic. Though I feel it might be more apropriate to only get this option after you killed Alduin, seeing as that's when they really make a song about you, rather than just your ledgend.

Greetings o great modders. I have a request for a tiny mod that combines elements of 2 different mods. To be specific, a texture from the Black Mage Armor mod, and a concept from the Archmage Boots mod. The idea is simple, I want to use the Black Archmage armor set, but with the archmage boots enchantment. (or just the Archmage robes enchantment I guess) After trying it myself for a few hours in the creation kit, I have come to the conclusion that I am missing something (probably something obvious to the veterans). In result, I hope that some pro modder could take up my request and make the boots. I'd imagine it be a very easy mod to make if you know what you're doing. I checked both Mod's pages, and didn't find anything about premissions, so I hope it's ok to request a mod with someone else's texture work. Thanks in advance

I'm looking for a specific mod for the intro tuturial. The mod I'm looking for makes your character pass out after Alduin lands, and than wake up in a ruined Helgen with a chest of stuf and a horse. I can't find it anymore :(
