  1. Before I rush and click anything. What do you think would happen if I purge now? Let's say vortex couldn't delete the files... What would happen when I redeploy them, would it re-write them as hardlinks?
  2. No I didn't =( I didn't even know that Vortex had hardlinks, I figured it out after thorough investigation. Somebody suggested to purging and redeploying them now to get back the 40 gigs.. But to be honest I am a bit afraid to do that, because I have also "disabled" mods installed. I spent gazillion hours for my load order.... I also edited a lot of mod config files and etc. I don't remember if they were installed via vortex or not... and there are those mods where you do the settings when enabling the mod, are those for the first time or will I have to do them again if I redeploy? Does purging reset any of these? Can I safely purge and redeploy and my game wouldn't change a bit?
  3. I just moved all my old drive contents to a new drive... Turns out Vortex was using 40gbs worth of hardlinks, since the deployement method was set to that. Hence I noticed that my copied files were a lot bigger. What would happen at this point if I change the deployment method now, to "Move (Experimenta) Also why is this method is still experimental, isn't safe to use? Finally, how would I get back my 40gbs back from my new SSD, since the hard links were coppied as well.... Should I purge mods and redeploy? (would that brake any order or settings?)
  4. Hello I have a similar problem. You know Swanson from Covenant, I moved him (and all residents of covenant) to Vault 88 using console commands. All good and working...But he constantly smokes without a cigarette. I know he used to hold a cigarette in his hand while smoking, while he was in Covenant... I even added cigarettes in his inventory but he still smokes without a cigarette in hand. What may have changed or got broken? How can I fix his animation?
  5. I don't understand this... If I install the initial ENBoost v0.283 my textures are all fine and I can use +27k vram. The low-res textures start to happen in "wrapped" versions starting from 291 and if you decide to use those for sweet fxs then you have to lower your vram below 4k. This is just plain stupid wasting all that ram. Plus it doesn't even work for me.The only way I can get my textures back is to use 283 and that version is so dark for me and I can't even find the brightness nor contrast settings... Somebody's gotta teach me how to really use this ENB thing.

  7. Currently, for some reason BanCo (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16822?tab=posts) prevents Sim Settlements 2 (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/47976) constructions to finish. Plot constructions halt while BanCo is installed and never complete themselves. If somebody could figure out what interferes what and perhaps create a compatibility patch for either mod, I would be so happy.
  8. Can anybody help me understand the difference between rules and dependencies. I've seen videos on Youtube where people update their mods without losing their rules. This is not the case for me and I have to redo all the dependencies again and again everytime I update a mod. Also when I click on manage rules, I only see a handful of them and my dependencies aren't saved there. Please help me sort these things out.
  9. I haven't started the ACT 2 main quests yet, but I'm already level 42 and 50 sc... I need this, or else the rest of the game will be much less exciting.

I'm sure many people agree that It's such a shame that the "Braindance" gadget is such huge part of the 2077 culture and the Cyberpunk world but we can't have a functioning one in our inventory. It would be wonderful to have a functioning braindance tool in the game, which you can wear and select memories to play from the past quests, like some dialogues / scenes with your favorite or important characters, or re-living the romances etc. I imagine it something like wearing the braindance from your inventory and once you quit the inventory screen there would be some dialogue interface to select memories (scenes) from your custom archive to trigger. You choose it, and the ready-made scene starts playing. Once finished you turn back. I'm sure nobody wouldn't mind a loading screen in between =) What would be better is if we could create some sort of a playlist to trigger scenes consecutively. Imagine finising the game and being able to create a playlist to summerize your whole play through, starting from your first quest with Jackie all the way to the end. Wouldn't that be amazing have in-game on demand? What would be EPIC is, if the modding community were able to convert these ready-made scenes into "raw-braindance-material" like the ones Judy have, where you can control the camera position and angle, be your own director and so on... I'm certain that I'm not the only one who wishes this thing to be true.

  12. I did the verification, it found 3 files which are unable to validate and redownloaded them. I got excited but nothing changed didn't help.. I tried disabling all mods but I haven't tried uninstalling them all... It's a bit scary at this point since I manually changed a lot of textures and meshes. How can I use the NMM to back up what I have, uninstall and re-install if wanted? Do profiles help with that? May be I can duplicate my profile uninstall all, then check... and go back to the old profile, would that help?

  15. Hello, I tried both running without and with mods, but my game still crashes when I shoot at an enemy (ie Raider). I got 72 Mods installed including some armor and weapon mods, but as I said the game still crashes without any mods activated, some of them must have made a permenant change to some files. I also tried loading very old save games too, still the same. How can I track down, which line of code or mod causes the crash? Is there a tool for that? Please help if you have any idea. Thx in advance.
