  1. Like this?: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54586/?
  2. I can't endorse most mods either :S
  3. I want to create a follower that uses the SOS Body meshes. But every time I preview the NPC, the Creation Kit closes automatically. Help please.
  4. Hehe, yeah, pretty much. But actually the main reason for it is to have a place where I can keep track of the development for myself. Somewhere that's not on my computer since I use the job's computer to make the mod and sometimes I check things out in my personal laptop. So it had to be a place on the internet.
  5. Check out in a more detailed way the development of this project in the blog below: ---The Dagger Lady Blog---
  6. I'm trying to create an NPC with CMO (Complete Male Overhaul), so it requires SOS (Schlongs of Skyrim). I've already created a female standalone NPC with custom body meshes before, but now every time I try to preview the character's body CK automatically closes without any error or warning. Why is this happening?
  7. I'm working on a quest mod right now, this is the order I plan to follow as for now: Make the plot. (That includes each quest for the questline) As you make the plot and already decided some characters, make their appearance in a save game. Start making the quest from the beginning of it. Develop locations. Create the Starting Mission all by itself with everything done in a beta manner. Place NPCs in the next locations. (in order) Make their dialogue and AI. Add misc stuff and dialogue. That's what I imagine by now.
  8. Sorry if I didn't understand your reference... :P
  9. Control too much huh? Hmm... maybe... although I'm not pretty sure what you mean too much. (Oh, and I also organize in my head too, lol, almost only thing in common in styles :P)
  10. You think so? Are our styles so different from each other?
  11. Time obviously XD Jumping straight to working on it instead of sitting there thinking. And I said we could work together.
  12. Then it is my time to tell you what I can do: Creation Kit skills: (tile placement for houses, dungeons and others / character creation / No 3D skills ) - Almost none for now, I'm still new to modding, but I learn fast. No, really, I do learn pretty fast when I'm interested in the subject. I had good notes in high school, so you can guess how good I am learning new stuff. My style of writing stories: - I like action very much. I have learned that what makes a good show-game-comic-anime, anything, is concentrated in one simple word: Exciting. I learned that from Dragon Ball Z, the one declared the best anime of all time and I agree. DBZ does not have a super incredible storyline, its characters are not too different from each other, and the way the events take place is not that big stuff. So what made it so good? Exciting scenes. Scenes that make you open your eyes a lot, stay there and see how things will end up, saying "Woooow". - But I'm no simple writer. I like very much suspense and drama. Why? Because my life was full of it for a long time, so I'm experienced in that. You have to impress the reader, make something unpredictable with what you have in your hands. Change the situation some times, put your main character in a pitch situation as many times as possible. Make a story in which the reader says: "I... must... continue... reading". - I usually accidentally think of the ending before the beginning itself, lol. Maybe that's a good tactic though. - I do not make too much characters inside a story to be honest. I like to keep the characters very recognizable and each one of them have a super very importance in the story. Everything has to be connected, nothing can be there just because of the fun of it. A situation leads to another, the destiny of the main character can't be changed. Decisions taken by the main character must have a huge importance to the development of the story. And he/she should be in constant trouble. - Each character is different from each other. No one should have a similarity unless it is for a purpose. I LOOOOOVEEEE metaphors in stories. Each character must represent a certain thing in the real world, and each of them should mean something for the writer. -Secrets inside the story itself. Things that fit into places when you think of them. They should be revealed at the right time. Things from the past become a present trouble that drives you into the story because you MUST know what happened. - When making a fight against an enemy, it MUST have different phases. First do this, then you must do that, change scenario if possible. Never do the same thing again or else the fight will be monotonous. Learned that from The Legend of Zelda, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, and some Naruto fights. Well... I hope I did not miss anything on my writing style...
  13. Well, the tutorial does give you the installator, which I had to use too because it said that I should do it anyways. I actually have no idea in that... And the CharGen nif and dds are in the "overwrite" folder of mod organizer. You will find a SKSE folder and then it follows the same paths.
  14. Well, now that I think of it you might be able to spare her life or kill her. If you kill her, you get her gear; and if you let her live, she becomes your companion. Yeah, pretty much. But right now I'm thinking of the characters that will be in the storyline. I imagined that before facing the Dagger Lady you fight a ninja that is almost like her. A ninja that is fast but not as fast as the Dagger Lady, and uses two katanas. So it is like if you are able to defeat this opponent, you are ready to fight the real rival. Considering that you are trained by the spellsword man that guides you to the guild.
  15. You have to kill her since you challenge her to a duel to the death. Once you kill her, you can loot her armor and obtain all of the abilities that made her special. If you have the option to become The Dagger Lady, would you really prefer her just as a follower?
  16. Everything is beta (even the logo), lol, thanks.

  18. I decided to share with you this quest I'm working on: http://s3.postimg.org/52kmryrsz/Dagger_Lady_Logo_Beta_01.png I am currently working on a quest mod named "The Dagger Lady". The quest revolves around the mystery of The Dagger Lady, a legendary woman who is said that no one has ever laid a hand on her. People talk that she is as fast as the wind itself. A shadow in the mountains, who her only weapons are daggers. That's the only thing you see, and the only thing you feel. Many have challenged the Dagger Lady, and no one has defeated her. And the ones that challanged her to the death... had never returned. You, as the Dragonborn, decide to take on the challange of defeating her, but since the rumors seem to be too serious, you first have to train in order to face her. On that journey, you encounter an orc named Nagok, who tries to interfere in your quest to defeat her. He wants to be the only one that has been a true challenge to this legendary woman. Nagok claims to have hurted the Dagger Lady in a fight to the death; but since he is still alive, no one believes him. But once you see the Dagger Lady herself, you notice that she is covering the left side of her face with her hair, like trying to hide something. And then it is... when you notice a scar on her left side of her face... The quest will feature custom NPCs, locations, and armor and weapons from other mods (with permission of course http://afkmods.iguanadons.net/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.png) It will not be too lore-friendly since the character of the Dagger Lady has some kind of superpowers like not taking falling damage and moving really fast. Dagger Lady Prewiew: ----------------This quest was inspired by an armor mod made by newermind43 with the same name-----------
  19. Good, then do this before anything else: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Using_a_face_made_with_Chargen_Extension_on_an_NPC_for_Skyrim Once you have gotten the appearance you want, go to the CK, make the changes to the hair, JUST THE HAIR AND HAIRLINE, then press Ctrl+F4 in the actor you want (I suppose Lydia). After that, go to Data\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\THENAMEOFYOURLYDIAREPLACERMOD.esp and you will find a .nif file with a bunch of numbers and letters. If you open it you will see Lydia's face. There, clicking on the left arrow of "0 BSFadeNode", then expanding the "3 NiNode", then expanding each of the parts (face, eyes, hair, hairline, brows, etc), expanding BSLightingShaderProperty and clicking over BSShaderTextureSet, you can expand the "textures" tab below and change the respective meshes' textures. If you need more explanation tell me.
  20. Depends on which mod you are using. I too ran into the detail that Natilde used some meshes that I never found in my folders, like the eyes you mention. Now tell me, what are you using to create your character? Enhanced Character Edit or Racemenu?
