Hi I made a post earlier about a bug I am encountering when trying to play Skyrim on a new game with no mods installed that sends the prisoner cart flying across time and space immediately. I have tried limiting the fps and refresh rate using NVIDIA Control Panel, NVIDIA Inspector, and RTSS (the refresh rate of my laptop is 144hz and normal display setting will not allow me to change it). I have tried installing USLEEP and the wagon cart fix mods off of the Skyrim Nexus. I have tried different graphical settings, using SKSE, and tweaking .ini lines. I am at a complete loss as to what to do, and sending tickets to Bethesda appears to be impossible. Please help me out, I'm pulling out hair. I guess what I'm getting at is that the .ini shows that vsync is enabled, I'll try to manually install a few mods that fix it. Thank you for the responses!

There is no option to turn it on in menus and I have tried turning it on using several different methods i.e. the skyrimprefs ini, NVIDIA Control Panel and NVIDIA Inspector

The only error message I get is this: "WARNING -> RecordProcessor: Information lost. Record skipped due to duplicate FORMID. [MOD=(Mages Guild Quests.esp), MODID=(2D), FORMID=(00000000) TYPE=(LAND)] WARNING -> RecordProcessor: Information lost. Record skipped due to duplicate FORMID. [MOD=(Mages Guild Quests.esp), MODID=(2D), FORMID=(00000000) TYPE=(LAND)]" and it is only when I rebuild the patch. I do not believe this would be a part of the problem, but I am the author of this post: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6758552-wrye-bash-error-code-extraction-failed-7zexe-return-value7/ And have to use projects, however from watching videos my load order icon and name colors are correct. Edit: I have been made aware I installed too many large mods despite them being compatible, and am now working on fixing that.

I fixed my problem, just don't know how to delete a post.

I'm restructuring this post to be more of an explanation than a question, because there is technically no fix for the problem. I have received help from Bevilex, the OP of the Reddit post I linked, OutdatedTV, Sinitar & Sinitar's Discord, and a little bit here on the nexus forums. There is no fix for being unable to install mods in the Wrye Bash installer tab with this error code: Extraction failed: 7z.exe return value: 7 I attempted everything, and I mean everything I know of and those listed above suggested, such as: bash.ini command line edits fresh installations of oblivion, all of the mod programs from the guide, and even 7zip/notepad++ using different web browsers, storage drives, and folders repacking the archives switching between .zip and .7z running Wrye Bash as administrator verifying file integrity, making sure no parts involved were "corrupt" and more If you receive the above error message, you will have to use projects instead of archives. To do so, right click > 7zip > Extract to "...". The folder created is a "project" that you can drag into the installers tab and use in almost the same way you use archives. The main difference is that projects are not compressed and you can manipulate files/folders more easily with a project than you could with an archive. As for issues with projects that do not arise with archives, I do not know of any but I'm sure they exist somewhere. I hope this helps anybody who runs into the same problem, and if anybody ever does come across a fix please let me know.

Okay I read the post, it seems promising, but I don't quite understand how to comment out a line using a semicolon in the bash.ini, I'm not AWFUL at .ini edits but this one is throwing me off. Edit: that post did not fix the issue for me or the person who posted it.

Yes and it works fine, the problem is that this happens with every single mod I try.

Patiently waiting :) I am looking forward to re-entering modding Skyrim when this is out and stable.

For anybody else that runs into this issue, here is the solution: uncheck as many optional .esp's as you can and verify that you are running 32 bit java.

I'm currently running the patcher and I am stuck at 2/3 33%, it's been a half hour and no progress. Any advice on how to fix this issue? I'm running it as a part of Ultimate Skyrim (http://ultimateskyrim.bitballoon.com/) with every optional file minus Wyrmstooth and everything associated with it, I've followed the steps to the t and have had no other issues so far. Edit: the only thing I can find that is "out of place" is a Cloaks - Dawnguard file and a few Climates of Tamriel patches that were not on the site mod list. Edit: Now it won't even get that far, a message pops up reading "skyproc.exceptions.MissingMaster: Requiem for the Indifferent.esp has some missing masters: Warburg's Map (all 3) and Paper World Map - Falskaar" Edit: Fixed that second issue, but my problem is back to after hitting "patch". It loads up to "33% (2/3) Creating Variant Records" then stalls for an hour, and crashes. Edit: I've started getting a message about it being a memory issue, however when I attempt to disable plugins I get error messages before the patch starts building about the .esp's being missing.

I feel like that quick troubleshooting guide should be added to that stickied post about the merged and bashed patches going together. I saved it for myself, and will probably refer to it every time I run into an issue as a quick "what's wrong" guide.

Forget everything I've been having trouble with previously on this post, I open the game anymore. I reinstalled the game and SKSE, but there is consistently 1 local file missing that cannot be replaced, and now whenever I attempt to run SKSE it starts detecting video hardware then crashes. Edit: I got past that, but detecrting hardware still makes it crash. Now in game everything is red and it says that it says bFloatPointRender=0 when it in fact = 1 (that might not be the exact line). Game crashes within minutes and it's nothing but character building mods.

GTX 980M, 4064MB Noticed some issues when I attempted to re-download everything from scratch, i'm gunna try deleting everything and starting at square one. Edit: I'd like to do that, but heyooooo Steam is down so this update may take a while. I appreciate your time and effort for trying to help me :D

I went through all of the recommended steps in that guide, I still crash randomly, on load screens, and on opening menus, normally withing the first 5min of playing. Hello! I'd to start by saying thank you to anybody who looks into this for me, I'm stuck in the hospital at the moment and really want to get this working so I can stave off the boredom. I've cleaned everything recommended by LOOT to clean, it shows 0 warnings and errors, which means the load order is going by LOOT as well. The laptop I am on has a 980m, 8gb RAM, 250gb SSD, 6th gen i7 CPU (pretty sure these are the right specs). Full load order is listed below I use alternate start so I can easily start new save games without reinstalling everything after the intro sequence, I have been starting at the "camping in the woods" option, which has me at a campsite right outside of Helgen. At that campsite I configure all of the mods in the MCM, then make my way to the keep (end of the intro sequence cave), grab Hadvar, and leave. Count to 2 minutes and I crash, farthest I have gotten is killing the wolves outside of Riverwood. Any suggestions as to how to fix this or if a certain one of my mods is having compatibility issues/causing this? Strangely enough, When I started as a patron at a local inn in Riverwood added assets from some mod were doubled, 2 new hunters, 2 new horses, 2 new children, etc. Edit: Uninstalled ETAC, source of the double NPC's, still having crash problems. Edit: Don't know much about ENBoost, tried it, still crashed. Edit: Looked into Wrye Bash, created a bashed patch, still crashed.
