  1. That would be kinda cool. To rephrase what you said, are there any mods that allow enemies to continue chasing the character through multiple cells? Would someone be kind enough to make such a mod?
  2. As most of you know, a recent update gave silver weapons a script instead of an enchantment for the silver burn. However, after testing it out in game, ive realised it actually doesnt work. Ive used it on a creature with the undead-type keyword which its supposed to work on, but it deals normal damage. HOWEVER, when i manually add the hidden perk to my character, the damage works as intended. Does anyone know why? Im not used to the new papyrus script stuff, so the script language is all gibberish to me. Thus, could someone good at scripting find out for me?
  3. Great! If youre successful send me a download link and ill try to figure out how to make a salt mine. Should be easy enough.
  4. Anyone kind enough to retexture the veins to a white salt-like colour? Anyone? No one? D:
  5. Well, instead of placing them everywhere, how about just making one or two mines dedicated to salt? All the salt in skyrim's gotta come from somewhere right? And well, my current game seems to be jinxed, i can barely find any salt in barrels and sacks I dont think that salt shaker thing will work, as the recipes consume the entire item. A different way could be to let you convert salt piles into pinches of salt. However, thats a little overly complex (need to change all recipes, make new ones), so the dedicated mines thing would work better. If someone could provide me with a retexture, i think i could probably figure the rest out
  6. Id prefer a standalone mod, dont really like the feel of realistic needs in skyrim. And mining just feels more.....immersive. Like, you actually have to let your character pick at the rock instead of opening up the menu and pressing a few buttons.
  7. Really? Weird, i couldnt find it in the ck. Anyway, nice find, makes things much easier too
  8. I dont think the CK can edit it. However, with TESVEdit you can. Load up the mod you want to change the stuff in, then when its loaded, open up skyrim.esm, look for Game Settings, then look for fMagicDualCastingCost. Right click it, click on the second Copy--- option, then confirm you want to edit it when the popup comes out. Dont change the ID. Next, just tick the mod you want it in, then click on. Do the same for fMagicDualCastingEffectivenessblahblah. Now, go to these two thingies in your mod. Look at the left window, the Values for these two should be greyed. Right click it, edit, then change to whatever you want
  9. Perhaps purified water could be added as an additional alchemical ingredient? Restore stamina, fortify stamina, restore magicka, and perhaps resist poison? It would be great if someone could do the veins as well as the purification method
  10. Salt? Rare? Are you serious? How much stuff do you cook? Well on average, one city has 7 salts (alchemical + food vendor). Thats only enough for 7 soups, which i really need since im using Frostfall. Then, i also buffed the regeneration from meaty foods, simulating you being "full". Aaaand all meats need salt to cook, even 1 teeny weeny rabbit haunch needs a whole BOWL of salt to cook. So yeah, thats why i need more salt. Salt? Rare? Are you serious? How much stuff do you cook? Gotta agree, salt's a mineral, Skyrim's filled with big ass mountains chock full of minerals, it's got a big ass arctic ocean to the north full of sea water and ice, therefore there's gotta be a BUTTLOAD of salt. But your idea's pretty good, I like it. Should be pretty simple - just change the color of an ore vein to a white color, change the color of the ore to look like salt, refine and BAM. Could have one dedicated mine or added to the random vein generator. Perhaps 1 or two dedicated mines, and in the seaside cities, buildings for producing salt from sea water. and random salt veins all around (maybe high up on cliffs, i remember reading somewhere that goats need to climb up cliffs to lick salt from rocks)
  11. I realise salt is pretty rare in skyrim, considering how much you need to cook stuff. Perhaps instead of removing salt from the recipes or simply putting more salt in the world, there could instead be a salt mine in a certain city, or maybe salt "veins" scattered all over the world. Or maybe both! Give it infinite uses and salt should never be a problem again, yet it provides an immersive feeling, when you have to "mine" your own salt. However, this "mined salt" has to be processed into usable salt, maybe by drying it or something at a smelter? Might be a tad unrealistic, but still better than the current salt mods available
  12. Not sure if its a bug or not, but my weapon seems to "flip" when im doing a finishing move. On normal, double edged swords it still looks fine, but on single-edged swords like the silver sword, or the various katanas, it just looks plain weird. Is it a bug, and can it be fixed? Ps the silver sword IS single edged, scrutinise it properly, youll see that one side is actually blunt.
  13. Perhaps there could be 2 types of challengers. The honorable ones, who, upon declining them, accept it normally and walk away. When they are defeated, they pay up. These would be characters like knights, warriors etc The unhonorable ones, like bandits etc, who still attack you if you decline, becoming a real battle, or if you defeat them, may either refuse to pay up, or get back up and attack you. Theres no way to tell the types apart other than clothing/what they say/their tone, perhaps name all generic challengers "challenger"?
  14. This starts out as a really strange but kinda cool bug I was on the mission where you save saadia and kill kematu, and so i did. However, when i killed him (through a decap death anim), i immediately moved on to the other warriors. However, having killed a few of them, i realised the NOW HEADLESS kematu was still attacking me with his dual falchions. I couldnt seem to kill him, as he had no hp bar, but after awhile, my companion, Fenrir the Frost Wolf (bug might have had something to do with him) finally killed him. Then it got me thinking. Wouldnt it be cool if there were enemies in the game designed to only be killed by decapitations, but after that, continued fighting? Either for a certain duration or until you depleted his now-invisible health bar again. Perhaps it could appear in the form of crazed warriors roaming around Skyrim in Ebony armor, scripted to only have decapitation death animations on him? Theyll just be standing there on the road, and the moment you go near him, he screams YOU SHALL NOT PASS and starts attacking you. When you decap him, he doesnt die, but just continues attacking you, headless. Is there a possibility of doing such a thing?
  15. Recently i tried adding an addiction to nuka cola. However, when i tried it out in game, withdrawal symptoms came back right after the nuka cola finished healing me, which is 25s. After that, i tried adding an invisible, harmless effect to nuka cola that lasts for 8 hours, to represent the time before the withdrawal symptoms come back. When i tried it again, even after waiting 8 hours, no withdrawal occured. My question is, how does addiction in the geck work, and how do i set a timer for withdrawal symptoms?
  16. Could someone make a variant of hunting rifle, exactly the same as the normal hunting rifle BUT replacing the extra ammo mag mod with a silencer? Should be relatively quick, however i do not know how to mod a silencer onto the weapon. If possible, make the mods attachable, not attached.
  17. Is it possible to remove the stupid green filter of blighttown? It seems to be the main cause of FPS drops, cuz the japanese version, which doesnt have the filter, runs fine.
  18. When it comes out, I swear I'll play through it without help vids! Lol I had Toby's help in the later, scarier parts of amnesia.
  19. The only reason i go to HH is because of the ranger armor, and the SURVIVALIST RIFLE. and some other items :D
  20. its not dead, but some modders seemed to have moved on, not sure if permanent or not. eg Millenia doesnt seem to have new textures
  21. i would really like a kerosene lamp in replacement of the torch, kinda like the one in Amnesia The Dark Descent. if possible, the same oil system too. it would be better and more fun than carrying around torches that weigh you down. held in left hand and produces light, like the torch, except brighter. thankyouthankyou
