LHammonds
what do you mean by Hp exe.'s is it the automated runtime's in the backround or the update's to the sytem firmware itself....I to have a periodic problem of crash's in the wasteland andwas wondering how you fixed this problem....(if you where able) If you cold offer the advice of the specific exe's it would help a lot.I no longer have HP software on my PC so I do not know if it affects Fallout 3. Here is the article I wrote for Oblivion: Oblivion Incompatible with HP Software LHammonds
TehReaper
I have to use an OLD Fallout 3 Launcher, due to a Conflict With Emlator Software Problem... I don't get many crashes, but once I upgrade my NVIDIA GeForce 6600 to an NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT or NVIDIA GeForce 8800 SLI, I think the crashes would be 1 per week. Kodiack
I've had the game for a few hours, and I've experienced only a single crash. I was rather careless with what I was doing, though. That, and I had the game running for quite a while. Outside of that, my game is running extremely well maxed out. Best of all, though, it's quite stable. I haven't experienced ANY lag either, which is amazing, since I had to get a few optimization mods for Oblivion to run at stellar framerates (of course, I also play with Qarl's texture pack and some other rather demanding things). My system specs are: Pentium D 820 OC'd to 3.0GHz (yes, it sucks...)5GB DDR2-533 RAMGeForce 9600 GTWindows Vista Home Premium x64 SP1 As always, my drivers and software are up to date. I'm probably one of the few that's not experiencing any major issues as of yet, but then again, I only have just begun (currently in Megaton, learning my way around).
