bongochongocheeso
Hello people of the nexus I need help I'm just starting to mod and I wanted to make new meshes so I did. The only issue is that while it lets me actually put the nif in the tes construction set and make the weapon whenever I try to put it into the world it crashes the construction set. If I try to put it into a npc's inv and place him into the world it crashes. If I change the nif of a weapon and try to load the game it crashes the game. If you have any info on this subject it would be great to have. Thank's in advance, bongochongocheeso
Oblivionaddicted
Your nif has something wrong. Would you mind sharing it?
bongochongocheeso
Hello I have tried sharing it before but I keep getting a pop-up saying "you don't have permission to upload this kind of file" Thanks, bongochongocheeso
Pellape
Which tools did you use to make the mesh? I use Blender and Nifskope myself so I am sure we shall solve this really.
Oblivionaddicted
You might get some clues about your problem using MessageLogger.
Pellape
Well I do have a clue what is wrong but I need to know which tools where used first. You can't export something direct from Blender, without passing it through Nifskope first as one example as Nifskope filters the Mesh if it is set to do it, putting stuff in the right order, which I think is a default setting and then save it. Also be sure you export as Mesh version 20.0.04 or 20.0.0.

Pellape
In theory, it looks okay, well in Nifskope but it is not. The first block is BSX that shows which collision type is used and it is 0. When it is right, the collision will become red or yellow in Nifskope, not green. [/url] Messing with this Nif and get it to work will become very complicated so here is what you need to do instead. Load the Iron Battle axe in one Nifscope and your axe in another Nifskope as you can run as many as you want at the same time Remove Branch for all NitTriShapes or NiTriStrips at the Iron Battle Axe (Right Click them on the left side in Nifscope to get the menu)Go to your axe and Copy Banch for each NiTriShape and paste them to the Ninode in the Iron Battle Axe windowAdjust the collisions if needed and you cannot drag or use mouse doing it as you need to change the x, y and z manually or just leave them as they are.Save the New Iron Battle Axe as a ClubAxe02.nifDo check my previous question and answer which tools you are using anyway so we can get somewhere a little bit faster but I do think we have solved the problem really... Nifskope is dowloaded from Niftools.org and it is the magic that makes stuff to work.
