RoNin1971
I just had a look in-game, but that doesn't look good.First I coc'ed into vault75 and ... well, talk about displacement... The whole place looks 'distorted'. Holes everywhere, glitching floor pieces (which moved half on top of eachother, leaving a hole to the void).Deeper down into the vault i got killed by a bunch of gunners. Then I tried it with my last savegame. I fast traveled to vault 75... but still need to arrive.... So there's definitely more to do for you before its playable. aurreth
I also recommend completing the quest "Vault 75" before installing my settlement mod. I actually want to go back and make that a condition for the workshop workbench appearing, one of these days. One thing I figured out while remodeling the Vault-Tec HQ, the wall pieces have a consistent numbering system. So something like VltWall01 is the undamaged one, progressing up to VltWall04 as the most damaged. Once I noticed that I was able to mass swap the damaged sections for the undamaged by selecting all the bad ones and doing a replace (I of course can't remember the command right now lol) for the matching 01 wall. By doing that I didn't have to actually touch the walls and risk shifting them out of position.

There's already a game mechanic which locks the workbench until you "clear the location" by killing the location boss, which you must kill to complete the quest. I'm not sure if the npc in the overseer's room is the actual location boss, but it's pretty likelly.

I'm aware of that, but the actual quest doesn't complete until you use the overseer's terminal to unlock the door to the room containing the boss chest. I'd rather disable the workshop so it doesn't appear in game until that happens. It's not necessary, just a personal thing. I want to do the same thing to Vault 95, so the workbenches don't appear until the Cait companion quest is finished. Otherwise you can clear it early and colonize, and then it's kind of anticlimactic to lead Cait past a bunch of settlers and wait for one of them to move it's ass off the chair she needs to sit in.
