Georgiegril
My favorite character, hands down, is Bothela, the owner of the Hag's Cure in Markarth.Everything she says is awesome, and the voice acting infuses the perfect mix of bitterness, sarcasm and amusement. ilikecheese1337
In no particular order: Lydia - needs no explanation Paarthurnax - benevolent ancient dragon Serana - character development J'zargo - "J'zargo can learn much from these men and elves, but they can never be as dashing as he" Tolfdir - fireball-throwing octogenarian (probably older, in fact, considering he's a wizard)
farmland1995
Delphine: Dragon hater, selfish person, evil and such a bad character, gone through all missions and tell Dragonborn like a slave to her .Esbern: Dragon hater and "Fake Justice FBI Agent", I hate him as much as DelphineLydia: Because just like everyone else's reasons.Greybeards and Mario ( if you know what I mean ): They are awesome and good characters type.Balgruuf: Because he'll ballin ballin, jarl ballins ballins, he's loooord of the rings. Teria23
Negative: Heimskr cause I want to kill him whenever I run past him. Those insanely annoying brats ruining every single moment in the streets of Whiterun.Maven cause I hate her.All those useless housecarls sitting in my house and talking brainless stuff or dying on the very first draugr. Positive: Talsgar the Wanderer cause it takes some balls to happily wander the roads of Skyrim armed with nothing but a lute.Ulfberth whose voice I love. Ok, so it's the voice of half the Nords of Skyrim but for some reason, I just LIKE Ulfberth. Just remarkable: Falk Firebeard for his cool, ok, hot, name. RatcatcherOfKvatch
Lydia. "I am swoooorn to carry your burdens." Her dry humor is the perfect counterpoint to her dour expression and protective fighting style. I feel like whenever I get into trouble Lydia's the one who will get me out of it. She's like a cross between Brunhilde the Shieldmaiden and Jeeves the Butler. At Legendary difficulty she's about the only one who can actually make you feel safe. "Heal Lydia" isn't a bad strategy in a world where she stands like a rock against a tide of things that will kill you. Brelyna Maryon. When you stop talking to her she has this giggle which is the cutest thing I've ever heard. She's kind of high-strung but not snobbish, and while skilled at being stealthy she never mentions it; she just does it. Being more experienced than she pretends gives her some mystery. Jenassa. The pain and loneliness in her voice when she takes her leave tears at the heart. That she says it with such forced restraint, proud as she is, only makes you feel it worse. Even if you marry her she misses you when she's not with you. Her versatility and high level cap rank her among the best fighting companions, so she's not some helpless weeping maiden awaiting rescue. She misses you because with you is where she belongs. Idgrod Ravencrone. The only Jarl who doesn't complain when you bring Talos back to Skyrim. She also helps you at the Thalmor Embassy without question and knowing you're an undercover agent. The pain of seeing her locked in the "F-ked Jarls Room" with much more deserving fools like Siddgeir ... what I wouldn't do to get a pardon for poor Idgrod. She deserves better. Ralof / Hadvar. Your first friend, and a friendly face when you start doing the civil war missions. I always go 'Cloak (my first time was Imperial, Talos forgive me) so it's Ralof I think of here, but Hadvar is just as good a friend.Ralof is so powerful in the beginning, and you don't realize how strong he is unless you get attacked by some dudes that are well above your level. His minimum level is 5, which when you meet him makes him kind of like a god. Of course you blow past him, and the arc of your friendship completes with him being a veteran mostly forgotten by history drinking and talking about the Good Old Days while you're out riding dragons. But you're still friends, he's still Ralof, and you still remember when the only reason you survived that Bandit Chief who really wasn't supposed to be there was because Ralof was, at that point in your career, one bad dude. Of these top 5 Lydia and Ralof are part of the "low-level experience" while Jenassa is definitely someone I associate with being mid-level or higher. If I met Lydia at level 40 she might've just blended into the background like all the other Housecarls, but at level 40 you're actively looking for a Jenassa-type. Situation is sometimes as important as personality I guess. (Brelyna fits a unique niche at any level, being I believe the only female steath-mage you can marry.) Rymdapa
The girlThat guythe other guysome girland this dude picking out a memorable character from skyrim is like picking out a winner from an eating contest with bad food, they all taste terrible but you have to choose the tastiest. The only noteworthy NPC's I can think of right now is probably Serana, Florentius Baenius, uuuh-Ulfric? No, let's see... only met cicero once so... not him. Delphine? No, she's the most forgettable character ever, uuuuh... Nord nr 5! Edited October 7, 2013 by Rymdapa

frank lee
Septimus Signus, when the maximal apex was reached, this guy fell off. . . And landed on his head! Delphine, just how many times can you get stuff wrong girl? Wrong about the Thalmor and the dragons, wrong about Paarthunax and if you'd kept pushing the Greybeards at the conference, possibly terminally wrong, Which brings us to the Old One himself Paarthunax, just cool. talk about been there done that. Krosis, but he's not just memorable but admirable, and representing redemption is possibly the realist character in the game. Balgruuf, The man represents the sort of leader we would want really. Thoughly good egg. And finally Elisif the Fair. Sad, the girl is so out of her depth and trying so hard, sweet. RatcatcherOfKvatch
Paarthurnax, yeah. He's earned his respect. And good call o Elisif. Every time she speaks you can just picture vampire lady ... what's her name? Sybil Stentor? ... you can almost sense her suppressing the urge to facepalm. Oh, right, Stentor got it wrong on Wolfskull Cave. Do you think she actually wanted those events to transpire and tried to allay suspicion on purpose?
