The current mod i am using i cant give them items for except weapons. I have used the allitems removed however when i additem of the armor i want them to use it goes back to there own armor. Followers have a tendency to wear the better of gear given as far as raw numbers go. They don't take into consideration any applied enchantments. Is the follower from a mod? If so, load that mod in the Creation Kit, locate their actor record, change or remove their default outfit.Most likely their default gear is getting in the way. You can't fully remove that. The default outfit has a tendency to reappear. Otherwise, I'm not sure how to help you with this situation. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bben46 Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 If an actor refuses to wear what you place in their inventory with a mod, remove any other similar things (especially armor) from their inventory as they will always wear the best vanilla armor they have - ignoring far better mod supplied armor, or non armor clothing that you want them to wear. Unfortunately they will still reset occasionally and suddenly be wearing the armor you took away from them and the stuff you gave them will have vanished from the game.
