459pm
I had a system with similar specs. Both of those graphics cards are integrated. Which means they will run skyrim VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY badly. The first one has more bang for your buck. You'll be able to play oblivion fine, but skyrim will run at 20 FPS tops on lowest settings. And that's with tweaking. Gaming laptops are a lot more expensive than custom gaming desktops. FMod
One is new. The other is a used part (refurbished). If you're fine with a used part, why not browse ebay/craigslist/whatever? Also, A8 4500M should have a bit faster graphics. CPU-wise, better multi-threaded and considerably lower single-threaded. BTW I kinda doubt either will be good enough for TESO, they're working on putting Skyrim-like graphics in.
Erik005
You will be disappointed with either of these laptops. The are only meant for office work. You can either buy a good second hand laptop or save up for a better laptop.
JimboUK
Does it have to be a laptop? you'll get a lot more for your money with a desktop.
ChrisIhao
Yeah, I have to join the crowd on this one. You will barely be able to run games like Skyrim with even one graphics setting set to anything higher than the lowest setting, in turn meaning that it will not look as good as it deserves. I personally would rather save and build a decent desktop pc, but of course I understand that if you're starting from scratch (lacking even a monitor), this is quite expensive no matter how you look on it. If you want help picking good components which represent a good bang for the buck, you will probably get a lot of help here on this site. If you want, I can help you via msg. as well, if you prefer that. Basically no laptops will give you good graphics at good prices, as most gaming laptops costs quite a bit more than the equivalent desktop pc, while offering generally less bang for the buck. hoofhearted4
Does it have to be a laptop?Anddd it has to be a laptop. I think that answers that. but as to also throw in my 2 cents. you are just throwing away money by buying a cheap laptop like that. i bought an Asus "gaming" laptop several years back, and it was $1000. probably not the best bang for my buck, even as far as laptops go, but it played the games i wanted to play at at least medium settings. i mention this because thats how much you would be looking to spend give or take to make your expense worth while. with a little bit of digging and price comparison and shopping around online, im sure you could possibly even find a better laptop then what i had maybe for cheaper. I bought mine without research or anything, I was a kid at the time and more or less just wanted a laptop :P you really want to find something with a dedicated GPU. more often then not, a dedicated GPU will be better then an iGPU. (not in every case mind you) but a laptop in the price range i mentioned, with a dedicated GPU would be more along the lines of what youd want. so imo id save your money save up for at least double the price youre planning now.
