Revolver Sniper Rifle?

Howdy Howdy just curious if anyone knows of a weapon mod that has a Revolver Sniper rifle? If not how hard would it be to take the hunters revolver and extend the barrel and add a stock to the grip?

cayman rifle. not sure if it animates with a revolver action when it shoots, but it looks like it does in the screen shot.

 

i do recall seeing a hunting revolver model with a stock attached to it somewhere but i cant seem to remember.

 

the rifle reloading animations most likely dont support a revolver rifle like a rossi circuit judge.

Yeah I have that like the look sadly no scope but still have it in my downloads. Thanks been looking through all the weapon mods just got tired of reading through them lol was hopeful someone might know of one.

Anyone have any sources that illustrate the various grips, loading anims for each group? That might make it easier to go through and find something.

 

Another alternative could be a breach loading gun animation group (single shotgun), except put a speed loader in there (like the hunting pistol, has) instead of a shell. The loading, grip & attack animations should all work. Although the loading animation might be a bit "fudged" it should be close.

The problem then is when you load the gun the revolver needs to be break action and you would have a speed loader stuck in your gun lol

2 Hand Auto - 2 hand weapons using a pistol grip
2 Hand Rifle - 2 hand weapons using a stock grip
1 Hand pistol - 1 Handed pistol lol

Animations cant be used between them, If you make a 1hand pistol you cant hold it with two hands and use a revolver anim on it.

Nope that's not the problem, the speed loader can disappear at the end of the sequence

Nope, all animations are from the single animation group a breech loading weapon; loading, grip and attack. I'll pass on punctuating my points with LOL's, since it's a complicated subject & I'm trying to troubleshoot a tricky problem.

 

Now the problem is animating the cylinder with a new model.....that's where the work comes in. Following me now?

Only if you know how NiTransformControllers and NivisControllers are done properly. Since you'd have to separate the Speedloader and Bullets into separate NiNodes or the bullets will disappear too.

Yes I know they are all from 2Hand rifle my point was that using the pistol anims wouldnt work :P You'd have to create a custom animation to make the cylinder revolve on a 2 hand rifle.

Brother, you realize you just repeated in essence everything from my previous post right? Well at least we know we're on the same page. Yep animating the cylinder. Re: the speedloader, right, that's a given. The idea being that we are able to exclusively use the breech loading animations.

 

Not saying it's the easiest or best method, but a possible direction.

I didnt see anything in your previous post about NiControllers :whistling:

Well If you know how to create animations for vegas then you may as well just create custom anims for the whole thing which solves the speed loader issue. The only thing I can suggest otherwise is using the little meter thing that turns when you fire the railway rifle but that wont be perfect either and will stop the hammer animating.
