I have a few mods with it but I disabled most of those that seem to deal with lighting and nothing changed. Anyway, here is the problem. In the IC Arboretum and in some outdoors cells, the game will just light up for no reason. I will be walking around in a naturally dark region (I play with Real lights all natural) and in some places, the game will just light up like there's a spotlight in the sky or something. I disabled Maskar's oblivion Overhaul but couldn't load the save without it, so I had to restart and run to the IC Arboretum and wait there until night time to see if the issue still existed. It didn't but I had to restart and go there and all that so I'm not sure if that's why or if MOO is the problem.Same thing happens in some wilderness areas. This is driving me crazy, any idea how to fix it or what the problem even is? Pellape Posted June 11, 2021 Share Posted June 11, 2021 I do not think it is MOO to start with as it shouldn't do anything with light as far as I know but the best you can do is of course to ask Maskar himself as he is active in his threads and at PM's but make a post here and see what he say. I have used MOO for a year now and I do not have that problem at all and I use it together with WAC When it comes to mods that changes light in any way, you do use: Extinguish the Lights.espExterior Actors Have Torches 1.32 CT.espAll NaturalSo deactivate those to start with and see what happens... Thanks for your reply. Yeah I tried that and tried it again now. No change at all, the Arboretum is still lit up. I'm not sure what folders deal with lighting, or why this is happening only in some place or why this is even happening. dantesoul Posted June 11, 2021 Author Share Posted June 11, 2021 Ok I screwed around with this a bit and at this point I'm not sure this has anything to do with the mods. I still don't understand what is going on.... So I got another save where I disabled and reenabled mods to see what would happen. I got to the Arboretum and everything is looking alright. With All Natural-Real lights on it is as dark as it is supposed to be. So I saved my game, loaded all the mods from the screwed up save, and reloaded the saves to see what the hell is going on. 1) If I load the non screwed up save first (it's also at the arboretum) and then load the screwed up save, all of a sudden the screwed up save isn't screwed up anymore, no washed out colors, everything dark exactly as it is supposed to be. 2) If I load the screwed up save first, it stays screwed up and if I try to load the non-screwed up save afterwards the game simply crashes. 3) I loaded the screwed up save, went outside the arboretum and saved. If I load this new save and go to the arboretum, everything is still screwed up/ This is without removing or changing any mods. Weirdest thing ever. So I can load a non-screwed up save, reload after it a screwed up save and somehow the problem is fixed? What the hell is even happening here? Anybody knows?
