jakethearmyguy
Howdy! SO I watched aiCave's video on how to clean up dirty mods using xedit. His video was about Skyrim, but that shouldn't matter? I only did it because I suddenly realized after a few days that, "Hey, none of the DLC quests have come up..." Anywhio, I used LOOT to find that all my official DLC plugins were "dirty," lots of ITM's and the like. I followed his instructions to the letter, but when I booted up the game, they still didn't activate. Can someone point me to a guide or tutorial I can reference? Thanks! aurreth
First, if you clean Nuka World it will screw it up majorly. Seriously, don't touch that one. If you already did use Steam to verify and repair the core files. A lot of tutorials are out of date. Not surprising on a 6 year old game. Get the latest version of FO4Edit, it includes FO4EditQuickAutoClean.exe. Use that to clean things. It's straight forward, run it, pick the file you want to clean from the list, let it run. When it finishes close it and repeat for the next file.
