parmacraft Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 I've had this problem for quite a while and I'm just wondering if anyone has had the same problem or knows how to fix it? it also does the same thing for the upper tab to switch from games.vortex version: 1.4.12System: Windows 64bit
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted June 14, 2021 Community Manager Posted June 14, 2021 Hmm, try turning off your custom theme. Or reinstall Vortex of the top of the current version.
parmacraft Posted June 14, 2021 Author Posted June 14, 2021 installing over it doesn't seem to have worked. and i use the default contrast theme.
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted June 14, 2021 Community Manager Posted June 14, 2021 To be clear, are you referring to the missing tile images or the fact you have two Bannerlord entries? It seems like the missing tiles are all from bundled games. This tells me that something is futzing with your Vortex installation. If you have any third party AV installed try disabling it and reinstall Vortex. (i.e. anything that isn't Windows Defender).
Guest deleted34304850 Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 i went off and enabled the same theme as the OP and i don't get the missing images issue at all.
parmacraft Posted June 15, 2021 Author Posted June 15, 2021 I was referring to the missing images and the occasional missing text and image. not sure why i have the two banner lord installations on vortex either. it was my AV messing with it. thank you for your time and help.
Guest deleted34304850 Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 thank you for coming back and providing a solution to this. can i ask you, what AV are you using?

Guest deleted34304850 Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 thanks for that information, its much appreciated. We've had several users with weird behaviour from vortex and they've all ran avast on their systems. It seems to really stick its nose into Vortex and really causes impact.I'd suggest you look to remove it from your system and stick with Windows Defender - that works just fine - a lot of those virus scanners have turned into snake oil - their original purpose has waned so much. its all about identity theft these days, which isn't what they were made for, so they are bloated beyond belief.
