deamonata
what you are doing is going to require making something that looks LIKE Cyrodiil, which Bethesda already has made with Oblivion it won't look that much like the cyrodiil that was in oblivion, there will be similarities but use assets from the original game is not our intention and using them temporarily will not speed up the process. The only real similarities will be in the more iconic things like the lay out of the cities. I'm perfectly happy with statement that Transbot mentioned earlier, people are allowed to move between but there will be NO porting of assets, which unfortunately is the method that skyblivion is using. thingyperson
I am currently thinking about starting to learn some modding and once I get a bit more understanding I will definitely be willing to join up. Looks good I hope it comes of something I know how some of these big projects sometimes fade but it seems like you are doing good work so farThat's how I joined, actually. I made a deliberate effort to learn scripting and NPC programming to benefit the project. I believe landscaping and modeling are among the most requested skills. It's certainly possible to acquire a valuable skillset, as long as you're willing to put a bit of effort into it.
insanitypays
I just recently came out with my own concept for a mod like this. -Maybe we could work together? I kind of have my own vision for the whole thing, and there are some minor differences, but we really should get to coordinating. My gmail is Erikmovesmetal @ Gmailhttp://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1018637-recruiting-for-skyrim-mod-tes-v-cyrodiil/ Come on over and we can discuss. A lot of what it looks like you want to do is stuff we are planning to do as well, though a big part of this mod is that it does take place at the same time as Skyrim. We are certainly considering an alternate start at some point in the future, but we are designing it so that a player can come across the border and start adventuring in Cyrodiil pretty much as soon as they'd like. We are aiming to design it so that it will be both internally balanced and balanced with Skyrim and any other Beyond Skyrim mods.
guinolas
Cyrodiil's soundtrack is getting shape since March. And it comes with a clash: https://soundcloud.com/guinolas/cyrodill-shattered-legions This same motif will be used also on other sets. It will define imperial presence.
