Tidus44 Posted January 27, 2014 Share Posted January 27, 2014 I figured the thread might become a logomachy (a dispute about or concerning words), or even a poetomachia (a contest or quarrel among poets) and possibly result in some exchanges that would be considered sevidical (cruel and harsh words), but a duomachy didn’t come to mind. I'd like to propose Pareidolia : a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant, like seeing faces in clouds,a form of apophenia.
