Medical call yesterday afternoon to a local club. Very attractive, very nicely dressed young lady who said she slipped and fell and broke her wrist and (probably) her ankle. The PCP filling out the report form for the hospital asked her occupation and she said "ecdysiast" (ek dizzy ast). The PCP asked her it that was like medical or physical therapist type work and she says, "Sort of, I do make people feel better." When we got back to the hall the PCP apparently looked the word up and it turns out, ecdysiast - is a stripper.

LMAO..she at least paid attention in English Class..probably has or is working on a degree. Now that was an amusingly droll anecdote....

"... requires taking some time out to think, meditate and excogitate on your abilities."

Advice from an author of a book on being a leader in the fire service. I'm thinking I'll send him an e-mail with the definition of "redundant" and perhaps "tautology".

excogitate; to consider or think something out carefully and fully.

tautology: needless repetition of an idea, statement, or word.

delassation - The state of being tired, fatigued - which is not too bad a description for me currently.

One of the crew was playing Paris Hilton's latest music video today at lunch (Note to self: move computer to the most remote location in the hall so I can't hear it any more) and I was sure there was a cat being strangled somewhere until I was assured it was just her singing.

Having a bit of a quandary (a situation or circumstance that presents problems difficult to solve; predicament; dilemma) and at an impasse (dead locked).

Need to make a decision.

I'll be getting a Weatherby, either the Black Reaper or the Kryptek TR with the 22 inch barrel, but not sure if I go with the .338 or the .308.

The Reaper comes with a Harris bi-pod, but the Kryptek has the Leupold 14x 50mm scope with illuminated reticle.

I need to decide by Friday so it can be ordered as I leave Saturday for 20 days of re-learning how to live, work and basically survive in the bush.
