Crash on New Game

I've been trying to restart my Fallout 4 after having it uninstalled and haven't been able to make it past the character creation. I have the Start Me Up mod active and whenever it fades to black picking something that's not the vanilla start it crashes after a black screen. When going through the vanilla start it crashes at the part where you interact with Shaun. I was hoping to figure this out on my own but I'm at a total loss.

There are any number of things that will break StartMeUp. The best way to use it is to only load mods you absolutely need for character generation and game start, things like CBBE, skin textures, and any clothing mods required for the start you want to use (like the NCR clothes), start your new game, and then load all the rest of your mods after you are in the world.

 

A quick look at your list, SanctuaryEx.esl is probably the cause. Anything that tampers with vanilla settlement borders or sizes is pretty incompatible with StartMeUp as far as starting a new game goes. You have to add those mods after you finish the intro scenario.

Thanks for the help! I managed to get through, but now it seems to be random. I try going through a loading zone, crash, I try to equip a weapon, crash. I'm going to go through the plugins and try troubleshooting, but as you saw with the load order I posted, there are a lot of them haha....
