SSE A Way to Bury Fallen NPCs

Can someone PLEEASE make a simple bury corpses mod? Just something small and permanent that gets rid of a corpse, marks a spot and maybe time with a stone or something, and makes me feel like i immortalized / buried a teammate when they die?

That would be a beautiful thing. I suspect it would involve scripting, which is beyond my knowledge, but in the meantime there are two mods that, combined, may serve the purpose for you.

 

1. Tonycubed2's Dead NPC Cleaner, which allows you to burn corpses away, allowing you to "cremate" them.

2. Jaxonz Positioner, you can place their weapon in the ground, their shield against it or their helm upon it, and then lock it all down.

 

Carry them to a nice resting place. Cremate them. Once the body is gone, place the marker(s) where you wish. You can also place lanterns, flowers, snowberry wreaths, even light sources. Best I can suggest for a stopgap system.

 

*Don't use Jaxonz to carry the body. For some reason, it seems to want to resurrect them.

Implemented :) It gets rid of the corpse, marks the spot with a stone, and you get to write your custom engraving for the gravehead.

Jebbalon also make a mod where you cast a totem, and a spirit will go around and collect the bodies and stack them by the totem
