Novice mod user getting angry

Hello.

I'm starting to get angry to this whole thing.

I'm getting Back to using mods on pc on long time. I'm novice with vortex and I'v used lot of bit old guides. I got a stable game before installing rh-ironsights and it's patches.

after that game first coupple times ctd.t and I thought forgot some things and installed more patches an continued installing more mods

Now I'm almost finished on my l.o and all tests ends on random crashes, when going in and out of buildings and normall walking is stuttery.

I'm Bit overwhelmed and I'v used novice guides. wrye flash shows green on all mods. loot informs that I have to clean mods. and after doind a seperate test profile without any mods. Game ctd. on Tittle screen.

so ANy help is appresiated.

And is there again another clean Install the only option.

DOn't use LOOT with Vortex, it's already built in.
Also, don't try and force the Load Order to be exactly like any guide you're following.
Let Vortex/loot sort your load order.

Have you tried running FO3 WITHOUT mods?
FO3 can be pretty unstable on WIN 10.
I have the GOG version installed because I'd CTD during the Birth Scene at the beginning of the game with the Steam version

So It is clean install number 2 ahead?

I'v usef to this moding proses now about 2.5 months... So does vortex and Fo3 work nocely together?

I do not use "exact" guide l.o's just what could work for me. (Ets2 and farming simulator are way easier to mod than this).

Made another clean start.

And ended in similar situation.

Difrece being I could not save anything. I'v given vortex controll of my l.o it being mostly texture heavy. Never got it finished when testing stability.

Do Install Fomm or can vortex handle Fo3 most newer guides are for fomm.

I'm just unimaginable frustrated for the situation.

Yeah, two things going against you from the start.

Any how, Most intel machines, not all require a simple fix to over come stability running.

That for starters. I am Not a vortex fan when it comes to Fallout 3's data base. I have my own dedicated server now and I use Fomm for Fo3 and FNV games.

I keep and maintain My own sort order documents for use with Fomm. The version intended is Hyperlinked in my spoiler tag here in my signature. The load order template is no where even close to

the messed up Loot arrangement. No body cares about fallout 3 anyways. That is apparent.

manually adjust your load order Or I'll give you a copy of the document. As far as allowing other programs to control your mods ? your free to do what you think is best.

 

I use all the tools for a Varity of reasons. that Includes Vortex. But Not for this game. It's fine with most other games, all I do is read the complaints and most of the time it's user errors that cause the problems.

There are more complaints than answers.

follow directions and the ini file is not really necessary but if you need it, it's up to you to lie to your PC. open and drop and run. should be all you need.

So Fomm it is then. It seems fo3 has been a bit forgotten. To get it work is way way harder than I figured. The only reason why I gave l.o most of the controll is becouse It was so automatic and easy on sorting.

Thanks for advise, I'l be starting from cratch yet again when my nerves A cooled down a little.

update to the originall issue.

I did clean install,. I use currently Fomm. I'm testing yeat again, and found rare issue. When I'm in combat If i use energy weapons game ctd after short while if more than 2 atacking me. If use non energy veapons no issues. So the culprit is eve? How Can I make it play nice or just remove it and forget?

First you fix order issues and test, do not test from where you are, you test before the problems started. Incorrect load orders cause weapons to go Bonkers.
