DreamOfTheRood
Oh, for crying out loud. Every twin study ever done has come back with the same result: personality is based more on biology than environment, although environment certainly has some influence. You don't have to make a clone. Geez, it's not even possible.
postaldudeleo
Fo Shizzle, um, anyone forget drugs. Ancient people used narcotics as if a way to talk to thier gods. That includes Jesus's time! Who knows, maybe he did the same thing. Anyhow, lets summarize. 1. These studies such as twin studies prove poo. their based on just 2 people. Everything is random in life. every cell is a bit different from any other of the same type. Not to mention that it only examines a few people on which thay base assumptions. 2.The top paper here literally says mental disturbances caused by electromagnicicity, radio, and other things but JESUS DINT HAVE A DAMN RADIO>OR POWER LINES>OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT FOR THAT MATTER. All he had was just rotation of earths core and possible electromagnetic disturbances from space (unlikely that they had anythign to do here). 3. :ranting: 4. Agian everything is random. These are all assumptions that have been discussed by higher proffesionals then us and have been discussed many times. This topic is becoming the same stuff over and over agian. All possiblieties sort of aliens and people being hit by lighting have been discussed. 5. едити ьы нахрен!!!!!!!!

All possiblieties sort of aliens and people being hit by lighting have been discussed. I agree. There are way too many flaws in this theory. There are about 1,000 point-counterpoints for the topic. No one in these forums will prove or come up with an important fact that could change the way we look at religion. I think non-believers will have to look somewhere else to uncover the mystery of religion. I for one, think this topic is going nowhere...fast. PeterJ
2.The top paper here literally says mental disturbances caused by electromagnicicity, radio, and other things but JESUS DINT HAVE A DAMN RADIO>OR POWER LINES>OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT FOR THAT MATTER. All he had was just rotation of earths core and possible electromagnetic disturbances from space (unlikely that they had anythign to do here). ahem. Ever done any actual scientific research into how many possible causes there are for a magnetic field. The program i watched also stated the theory for the answer to why there is an increase in supernatural or ghost sightings around the time of aurora borealis. If you know what causes aurora which is the effect of solar wind on the earth and earths magnetic field you know that this has been happening since the dawn of our planet. So there is always and has always been something around to create a magnetic field. i.e the earths field, solar wind. hell magnetism was even discovered like 1000's of years ago in certain rocks which might be able to have an effect. Everything I've read has said just the opposite.
postaldudeleo
PeterJ, I knwo that there are literally millions of cuases for a magnetic field, its just that many and most of them arent that likely to effect those certain people such as jesus who just happen to be plop down in rome. Then agian, theres a chance one of those things effected him....................................... And gost sightings are pure bullshit by mental patients who obviosly have something very wronf]g with thier head. hey, some guy even said he vulked a ghost. did he? Hell no. DreamOfTheRood
Jesus was in Israel; he never went to Rome.Saying 'vulk' is gay. This is my point: in a natural setting, it has not been proven that magnetic fields affect brain functioning of people without TLE. In fact, there's no evidence to suggest it. The article's experiment was done in a laboratory setting with a machine, which stripped the experiment of any relevance to the outside world. Thus, basing any type of theory on the assertion that magnetic waves affect the brain would be a bad idea.
ImmortalSnafu
Saying 'vulk' is gay.Nope. Sex between two men is gay...I can't stand it when people are like 'That is sooo gay!!11!', it's so ignorant.
postaldudeleo
Why did my word "f@@ked" turned into vulked? Fo shizzle, @@@@ is the one magical word. Its the only word that can convey, love, hate, joy, gayness, retards, idiots, sex, other stuff snoop dog says. Plus, its the only word that can make a sentace entierly out of itself hence @@@@ the @@@@ing @@@@ers. :construction: Sailor mouths rule!!!!!! (Im just kidding, these swearing discussions are getting lame) Sorry my bad on saying jesus was in rome. My mistake. You have a correct point there, it was done in a lab with everything controlled. On the outside word, a magnetic field can be altered by another variable and there can be multiple fields. Life agian is too random.
Eiade
postaldudeleo, you totally stole that whole thing off of George Carlan. My input for the evolution of religion: It has always been said that religion was created by man to explain the unexplainable. To me it seems that that has always been true for religion today as well. Religion will always be there when there is something that the human race does not know, or wonders about.
