aurreth
Frankly I'm surprised that isn't the universal gun instead of pipe pistols. I mean these idiots can't nail two boards next to each other to keep the wind out, but somehow they manage to mine and smelt copper and zinc, produce brass, turn it with a fair degree of precision, acquire the materials to make smokeless powder (I haven't seen any caves full of bats...), and turn out an endless supply of .38 ammo. Oh, and they can do all that and the BEST they can do is pipe pistols. Would have made more sense if cap-and-ball revolvers and black powder were state of the art, with anything else being left over from before the war. Of course it is America, where there are more guns than people. I imagine there'd be a LOT of leftover guns. (Before some idiot jumps on me, yes, it is due to people owning multiple firearms. Hey, I own multiple firearms.)
instyne49
This is the only mod I know of, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46251 , Black Powder (Flintlock) Pistol. You didn't mention it, so I have no idea if you have seen it.

dudemangos
This is the only mod I know of, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46251 , Black Powder (Flintlock) Pistol. You didn't mention it, so I have no idea if you seen it.it uses the 44 revolver animation and looks bad, i want someone to port the 76 one so it has all the animations already. Problem is porting from one game to another, even if they are made by the same company, is generally a copyright violation. I mean in theory it is probably alright if you own both games, but you could never publish the mod because someone like me, who doesn't own 76, could then download those copyrighted assets. So it's not a simple port unless Bethesda has given permission, which they won't because they want people to buy both games. The meshes need to be created from scratch (or from some copyright free 3D library someplace), textures made, animations created, etc.
