aurreth
Any mod that spawns settlers for you, or using the console, will still spawn settlers at Raider Outposts, and the raiders won't kill them. I did this during a recent playthrough. Summoned settlers were assigned to work crops, sleep in "slave barracks" or cages, and equipped with shock collars that I modified to make them work 24 hours so they wouldn't slack off and go use raider relaxation points. Raiders were assigned to guard posts overlooking the fields, to stand guard over the "slaves". Slaves were also assigned to furniture from, um, I think Busy Settlers, that produce happiness. So basically a bunch of menial tasks that kept the outpost humming along (raised happiness). As far as I can tell assigning settlers to crops in this way did not have the negative impact that would have happened if you assigned raiders to farm, or if it did I had enough slaves doing menial, happiness producing tasks to offset the problem. aurreth
Ok, technical part. Any settler spawned at a settlement is automatically assigned to the faction of that settlement. Minutemen settlements get "minutemen settlers", Railroad safe houses get "railroad settlers", etc. So, while it's probably an oversight given that you aren't supposed to be able to do it, Raider settlements get "raider settlers". But as far as I can tell they don't get turned into true raiders, so they sidestep the "raiders hate farming" penalty. The hard part about "slave labor" is that you'd have to alter the workshop npc scripts so that the slaves were limited to working or sleeping. Otherwise they will wander into the raider bar and pull up a stool. I side stepped this by making them work 24 hours, just like robots. Not an elegant solution, but it worked.
