Radioactivelad
I have a an old backup of a mod I've since restarted work on from the ground up, but the legacy version has a very detailed cell I'd prefer to just copy over. Is this possible? It's dead simple to do with Interior cells in FNVedit, but when I try doing the same with an exterior cell nothing happens
madmongo
Hmm... I thought you could do that in FNVEdit. You'll run into issues if you have placed custom items that aren't in the second esp but other than that I thought it worked.
madmongo
I went poking around on google, so here's another method you can try (I haven't done it myself). Make a copy of your legacy mod and use FNVEdit to remove everything except the exterior cell that you want to change. Then use the Merge Plugin mod to merge your legacy and your new mod together:https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69905 It's a skyrim mod but supposedly it works with Oblivion, FO3, FNV, Skyrim, and FO4. Radioactivelad
Thanks, I did get it to work eventually, I just had use "copy as deep override". (with overwriting) The only thing was it doubled the navmesh, even though I had already deleted the one in the updated mod, but it's not a major concern as I was going to have to redo the whole thing anyway.
