Can't solve "Project Nevada could not detect NVSE which is req

Got a major issue here.

I installed NVSE and everything into the game, not the data folder.

Installed Project Nevada.

Launched the game with the loader and it keeps saying, it "could not detect NVSE" again and again.

What i tried:

Running the NVSE 3_2 beta loader as admin.

Reinstalling the NVSE.

Reinstalling the Project Nevada and it's addons with and without FOMM.

Tried to install NVSE_Extender...

And so on!

It seems Nevada Skies is detecting it, becouse it works and every mod i have works except the Project Nevada, which i need for my saves to fully work :/

Help meh'?

When you're in game, open the console and type "GetNVSEVersion" (no quotes) and see what it says. If that returns a value, then something else is wrong. Try instead installing the entire contents of the NVSE archive (you can skip the "src" folder) and then launch with steam. If you have the steam_loader.dll installed, then it should hook with steam and run. If that still doesn't work then I don't know.

I was about to say something similar. NVSE is either running or it's not, which you can confirm with Gribbles' command.

If it's not, there's a setting in NMM where you can you specify the NVSE file so that when you launch the game, it runs NVSE.

If it is, and assuming the problem is not with Project Nevada, uncheck all mods for a launch to see what happens. If it suddenly works, use process of elimination to discover the conflict, then change the load order (above/below) to see if that offers symbiosis.

If not, you might hit up the threads of both mods.

EDIT: I just noticed you're still using FOMM. I believe there is similar functionality with that loader, though it has been quite a while since I've looked at it.

Yep, there is.

I like to stick with the old FOMM.

I found out, that NVSE isn't working, it might be becouse it's the 3_2 beta, but i'll try searching around for threads and videos on how to make it work.

Thanks.

EDIT:

Nope, not working.

I have it in the game directory, not data, no steam.

It launches well with the loader, but ingame it shows, that NVSE just ain't there :/

EDIT #2:

Nailed it.

UAC is stil running on background in Windows 8 and was blocking NVSE :)

Klled it through regedit lol :D

I know it's no comfort but I'm having the same thing... however NVSE works fine as long as I use it's own or the game's launcher. If I use the 4Gb launcher it fails to start. Right now I have a choice between playing without 4Gb or playing without NVSE. It ads another factor into the mess but you might want to check 4Gb as a possible suspect also.

In my case, as is usually the case with me, my problems stemmed from a dumbassed mistake on my part based on my thinking that although it had been almost a year since I last did something, I would remember it perfectly and had no need to RTFM again. You'd think I'd learn eventually.

Edit to the edit: Spoke too soon. I shut down and when I rebooted I was right back in the same mess again. Everything works fine until I start reloading mods (Just rebulding after a crash a few months ago). Beginning to look at one of the 4-5 dozen mods I have to install as the culprit but unless someone has a list of mods that keep 4Gb and NVSE from working together I guess it's going to be the old "one at a time until you find it routine".

The REALLY bad part is that you can't just do a Steam validate or even a regular Steam reinstall when it crashes. You've got to remove every thread of the old installation wih a registry cleaner and then reinstall. I've done that 4 times today. About ready to go back and stick with FO3.
