  1. Not Vortex's fault. I have modded DAO quite a bit . Some of the older mods need to be repacked to work with Vortex or only work with DAO-ModManager
  2. Has this fixed the issue with profile switching?
  3. Solved on Discord. Thanks for the help!
  4. Purely user error, I am sure. Even though I can post here, I can't access my security settings. Keep getting a 2FA error. Ironically, I was trying to access my security setting to turn on 2FA.......
  5. @insomnious @Nagev This was confirmed by another user in a different post. Please advise if the exclamation points are a problem or not. Thanks.
  6. @yofamgaming Thanks for confirming the exclamation point problem. I don't think the devs were taking me seriously. I am not switching profiles untila a dev chimes in.
  7. @Nagev Is this related to my problem here? Frequent White Exclamation Points I use profiles.
  8. I never saw these in versions prior to v1.10+ except if I created an overwrite at the individual file level as opposed to the entire mod level. And it made sense because I set up a rule that contradicted the overall rule. Now I see these exclamation points in more than a few of my mods and I have no idea why or what they now signify because I haven't set any rules for these mods at the individual file level. I am concerned that my rules are not being respected. Is this intentional behavior and if so, what do the exclamations mean now? Thanks.
  9. It's still there for now. Just hidden. Add "tab=friends" after the "?" on link to your profile page. Mine looks like this. I am not sure if you can access it. But I can. https://www.nexusmods.com/users/1265?tab=friends
  10. update: MacSplody (on discord) confirmed that some LOOT groups were removed and replaced with new groups. Not really a Vortex issue.
  11. ...excuse me? What is this? These are legit groups selectable from the drop down list. Fixable without removing the groups?
  12. Sorry. My bad. It was a mind fart........... The setting that I was looking for was under the Games tab, "manually set location".
  13. I have bother the GOG and STEAM versions of SSE installed for testing. Using the beta, how do you point a profile at which SSE install (GOG or STEAM)? I know that I have done this in the past. But either I am having a complete mind fart or that option seems no longer available. Thanks.
  14. It stopped doing it. I remember something about the beta needing to "reset" the overwrite rules. Could this be related?
  15. ...when I install a new mod or apply any overwrite rules. Is this normal?
  16. It is beta. But reporting bugs is not the same as a complaint.
  17. Is it possible to roll back? In addition to the issues that I already reported, every time i go to deploy it hangs for literally 3-4 minutes with message "waiting for other operations to complete". No idea what it is doing, it is unworkable like this. edit: I put myself on "stable branch" for now. Hopefully that will work.
  18. Fair. I don't use VR. But I have used mods that need to be placed in both the root folder and the Data folder. The "unpack as is", then selecting mod type "engine injector" ("enb" seems to do the same thing, not sure what the difference is) has always worked and conflicts were detected.
  19. One thing I don't get. It came up with my issue in another comment topic. Why do you need to worry so much about conflict resolution between mod types? How could an ENB conflict with a mesh replacer for example?
  20. Will this work? Spider Web overwrites Particle Patch for all individual files.
