galdran
I have been unable to access skyrim.nexusmods.com for the past 24hrs. I at first thought the problem might be on my end, so I did the usual stuff. Reset my RouterReset my Cable ModemPower Cycled the Cable ModemRestarted the computerRenewed my IP with my providerFlushed my DNSDisabled my FirewallDisabled my Antivirus Problem is in any browser as well as when I try to use NMM. With NMM it authenticates my account, but NMM will not load because it can't reach skyrim.nexusmods.com. I tested by putting in the wrong password and it would instantly tell me that I have a bad password, but if I had the correct password it just hangs for awhile until it times out. None of this fixed the issue, but for about 30mins last night it appeared to start working again, and then stopped. I have pinged both the URL and IP address, as well as done tracert's. With the pings, I get 100% packet loss, and with the tracert's it goes through every hop until it gets to the final hop. (Skyrim server) and then it times out. I have tested the same thing on my work computer and everything works fine.It looks like whatever the issue is, is on the skyrim nexus mods server. I should also add, I can access every other subdomain. forums.nexusmods.comoblivion.nexusmods.cometc etc Edited July 12, 2013 by galdran
M48A5
I have just accessed the Skyrim Nexus without a problem. If everything works on the computer where you work and not on the home computer, why would you think the problem is on the Skyrim server?
galdran
I have just accessed the Skyrim Nexus without a problem. If everything works on the computer where you work and not on the home computer, why would you think the problem is on the Skyrim server? Because the tracert stops when it hits skyrim.nexusmods.com unique ip address? And my tablet connected to my work wifi works and connected to my home network does not. nymphipoo
I'm having the same problem and I've done the majority of the things that you've listed to troubleshoot. My friends on different networks and downforeveryoneorjustme.com can access the nexus with no problems. I can also connect to every other subdomain besides the Skyrim nexus and I have the same problem with NMM as I do with the launcher. In addition, my tracert looks almost exactly the same as yours. galdran
Brodler, any chance you are using Shaw cable for your internet? Or are you located in Vancouver, Canada? Want to see if its a regional or ISP thing.
galdran
This might be the same issue as these people are experiencing.
